:IND has qualified 8 more athletes by ranking :thumbup:

 

Women: 

 

1. Jyoti Yarraji - 100mH

2. Annu Rani - Javelin 

3. Abha Kathua - Shotput

 

Men: 

1. Sarvesh Kushare - High Jump

2. Abdulla Aboobacker- Triple Jump

3. Praveen Chitravel - Triple Jump

4. Tajinderpal Singh Toor - Shotput

5. Jeswin Aldrin - Long jump ( he is ranked 33rd but gets in due to Sreeshankar’s Withdrawal/injury)
 

**DP Manu had also qualified by ranking but he is doubtful. 
Hopefully we can add 1/2 more athletes who are just outside the cut offs & may get a chance on other withdrawals. 
 

At present, with these additions our contingent size for Paris swells up to 110 athletes in 16 sports. :clap:
Decent number considering we lost out on women’s hockey & fencing .

After reallocation of quotas 

 

Ankita makes it to Paris in 5000m. & Jeswin as expected makes it in Long Jump.

 

We now have 111 athletes in 16 sports representing :IND at Olympics :clap:
