The Indian contingent is set for Paris 2024! 🇮🇳

 has qualified 8 more athletes by ranking 

 

Women: 

 

1. Jyoti Yarraji - 100mH

2. Annu Rani - Javelin 

3. Abha Kathua - Shotput

 

Men: 

1. Sarvesh Kushare - High Jump

2. Abdulla Aboobacker- Triple Jump

3. Praveen Chitravel - Triple Jump

4. Tajinderpal Singh Toor - Shotput

5. Jeswin Aldrin - Long jump ( he is ranked 33rd but gets in due to Sreeshankar’s Withdrawal/injury)
 

**DP Manu had also qualified by ranking but he is doubtful. 
Hopefully we can add 1/2 more athletes who are just outside the cut offs & may get a chance on other withdrawals. 
 

At present, with these additions our contingent size for Paris swells up to 110 athletes in 16 sports.
Decent number considering we lost out on women’s hockey & fencing .
