Tomorrow, instead of the traditional mixed relay, a completely new individual race format will be on stage: the socalled 3km knockout sprint, where 3 rounds (heats, semifinals and finals) will be contested to crown the winner I'm very curious to see what happens, even if this kind of competition imho is completely against the spirit of long distance open water swimming in other words, bring back the good old 25km races instead of these new fuckin' stupid formats!!! -
