World Championships

 

XD : Rohan / Sikki will face Adam Hall /Mcpherson from Scotland in R of 64.  Will face 6th seeded Korean pair of Kim wan ho/Jeong Na eun if advances to R of 32.

 

WD: Treesa / Gayatri seeded 15th and get bye in first round. Will likely play taipei pair in R of 32. Will face Seed 1 Chinese pair Chen Qing Chen/ Jia Yi Fan in R of 16.

        Shikha/Ashwini bhat will face Dutch pair in R of 64. Will face Indonesian pair of Rahayu/ramadhanti (11th seed in R of 32).

 

MD : Sathwik/Chirag get bye as 2nd seeds. Will face Australian or Irish pair in R of 32. Will face 16th seed Indonesian pair of Carnando/ Marthin in R of 16. 

 

 

WS :  PV Sindhu Seeded 16th gets a bye in R of 64. She will face Nguyen/Okuhara in R of 32. Likely to face Ratchanok Intanon in R of 16.

 

MS:   Prannoy seeded 9th will face Koljonen from Finland in R of 64. Will likely face Wardoyo in R of 32. Will likely face Loh Kean yew( Seeded 7th) in R of 16.

 

         Lakshya sen seeded 11thwill facePaul from Mauritius in R of 64. Will likely face Jeon Hyeok Jin in R of 32. Will likely face Viditsarn( Seed 3) in Round of 16.

 

         Srikanth will face Kenta Nishimoto( seed 14) in R of 64. Will likely face Carraggi in Ro 32. Will likely face Ginting ( seed 2) in R of 16.

    • Franchi had a similarly impressive performance at the 2023 World Championships on the same distance but later she completly missing. I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
    • The last day was a great success, for first. Secondly, even 20 medals are fewer than the 22 from 2023 and 34 from 2021
