What else choice does he have? The bigger question is WHY Brazil even tries to enter biathlon competitions?

Because they have athletes who like the sport?

And yeah, there are plenty of coaches who don't give two craps about whether or not they're athletes are happy.

I'm no athlete and still noticed he's just a very pleasant person to talk with :)

There's this thing called funding though? Can't believe many Brazilian sponsors willing to spend their money on a winter sport just because a guy or two like it?

Enough to get by, be it barely. There's also the IBU that helps small nations.

Excellent results yesterday,  today it's another beautiful day. Ready to cheer for Jill Colebourn, who will write some history today as Australian in a pursuit after yet another great showing yesterday :cheer:

The goal: not get lapped.

Result: didn't get lapped :cheer: (although winner Slivko was really close in the last lap, but because Jill skied her 4th lap as if it were her last, she managed to stay ahead and finish :d )

This week it's Lenzerheide, starting tomorrow. Most important race of the season by far for Bruna, it's a little complicated but basically one can say an immense amount of pressure (and financial trouble) would be gone if she gets a top-80, so let's go.

It's cold and - as always - utterly beautiful in Switzerland.

7 nations who were in Arber last week, are apparently not in Lenzerheide now. Arber had 88 (individual) and 84 (sprint) athletes, it'd be just perfect if today the start list shows less than 80 athletes :d
