Always appreciate when the cauldron is burning during the Games. It’s got a nice little perch right above the 100m start as well.

Edward :PAN DSQ from the men’s 100m. He won’t be adding to the historic medal tally.

Edit: He was allowed to run, so not sure what transpired there?

And she actually beat Galvan and Cortés with an amazing sprint in the last 150m

Great race for her

    • Regarding the swimming they have added the 800m for men and the 1500m for women so cutting numbers would be odd.
    • That quota I’ve been told by an athlete aiming to qualify who I know online.
    • Has the quota for Canada been offically confirmed anyway, or is that just a rumour? I can't find anything on google about it (nor the suggested quota for England's athletes someone posted earlier).   12 per gender would make sense (it's roughly what Canada sent to Birmingham). 12 overall seems dumb.
    • Some sports have qualification systems   3x3 basketball (wheelchair) Para-cycling Powerlifting Weightlifting
    • In the past few games, Canada (and other nations) was given an overall athlete quota which they then divided it through the various sports.
    • Whose decision was this, Team Canada's or the Organising committes?
