Yes, you are 100% right.

It seems to be eurocentric.

 

What can we do to change the tide here?

Firstly, I would invite You to join our voting if You wish.

 

And i think a choice of events so far may be a factor here.

 

And maybe (maaaybe) AUS has many golds in the olympic history, but they don't have that many events when they were GOATs.

OR when they were popular's votes darlings.

 

For example, i was pretty surprised that Matthew Mitcham has got only my wote in 10m Platform Diving competition...
