You can't have NED-BEL in the next round because all hosts have been granted to play at home. If NED finish 3rd, they will face Serbia (which is a stronger opponent :p) in Apeldoorn.  The same happened in the women's tournament with Slovakia.

We had similar problem in women's championships. According to place our team should go to Slovakia, but we was one of the hosts, so Italy went ;)

Despite losing, :CZE eliminated :MNE since they have  one point more. Montenegro had to win 3-0 or 3-1 today, and while they tried, they failed to accomplish this objective.

 

Meanwhile, :ESP managed to beat :GER which underperforms heavily so far in this tournament, and by doing that they managed to overtake :SVK as the 4th placed team in group B.

As said above, if Ukraine defeats Poland (unlikely) then :SRB will play :NED.

 

CZE is ranked better than FIN after the pool phase: this means that unless Finland upsets France, Czech Republic will join GER, SRB, FRA, BUL, BEL, SLO, NED in the Olympic qualification tournament.

      There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)
