Well, the Ana Jelusic story proves hype can derail fast. She's in an awkward spot, there will be no immediate competition like it is in the powerhouse nations but also no chance to sneak under the radar. It's anyone's guess how will she cope with the looming spotlight. Filip Zubcic had a terrible season tbh and that's another cautionary tale.

Well, Ana Jelušić still achieved two WC podiums (or was it three?). Including 2nd place in Zagreb, which is still our best rank on home snow.

 

Sure, some may have expected more, but her career was farcry from a disaster.

Some serious dog shit was waxed on Shiffrin skis in that 2nd run The slowest time in 2nd run, surely never happened to her in her entire career I imagine

Maryna Gasienica-Daniel ends the season with 8th place. A great season overall for us minnows
