finally a global medal for her...let's hope she doeasn't stop right now, when things get more "tasty"...

p.s. we also have RAISport HD live for the finals (at least they announced it)...

They announced but you know... RAI is RAI. Let's hope that they will show fencing and no some match of the Primavera Serie A or something of unless like this :p

naaa...today we shouldn't risk anything like that...the football champs are still on holiday (and the sub-19 Europeans are scheduled for 5.30 p.m., so when fencing is over)...

wow! Kim Jung Hwan beat Gu Bon Gil in the men's sabre quarters...

and Russia finally enter the medal table thanks to Ibragimov (who won against Szatmari)...

unfortunately Ferjani's run has been stopped by Kim Jun Ho...so, today we have 2 Koreans on the podium...

finally, Dershwitz put the USA among the medallists also in the men's division...2 honors for them today...

yes, HUN are the big losers today...they got close, but couldn't finalize (and Szasz's loss to an almost unknown Swiss girl is particularly painful, I guess)...

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?

    • Hey guys, I contribute Skeleton articles for a new winter-sports focused website called "All things Snow".   I was wondering if any of you could please spare a few moments to read my latest article on the World Cup finale in Altenberg a few weeks ago.   Any feedback on length, content, or just general tips will be greatly appreciated. I'll be sure to implement them in my Olympic Skeleton recap pieces. Thanks!   https://allthingssnow.net/2026/01/19/pfeifer-and-wyatt-win-the-finale-meylemans-and-weston-seal-crystal-globes/

    • changes that go absolutely against the Italians (notoriously the top swimmers and not the best shooters in MP) 😭😭😭   now it's really time to axe MP from the Games 😈🥳
    • I think there was a feeling before the obstacle course was introduced that really, really solid endurance runners were starting to dominate - in Triathlon you might call it the Alex Yee conundrum. Personally, I don't mind at all if the 'martial' elements are reemphasised as that is the real 'soul' of the sport - Triathlon, Marathon and Road cycing are there for genuine endurace, MP is in some senses a 'soldiery' test - one reason I thought Judo might have been a better addition than the obstacle course. But placing a higher emphasis on the fight bits over the flight bits seems a legitimate idea - though it should also increase the X-country nature of the run so that the test of a fresh shooter at the beginning is rather different from the test of a knackered one at the end. I quite like the artificial hill in rio.
