Swimming team sizes so far.

:USA +36

:BRA +35

:VEN +21

:ARG +17

:CAN +16

:URU +5

:BOL +4

Any others I am missing?

:PER +26

:CHI +9

:PAR +9

:NCA +4

None of these count Open Water, that's why the numbers might be different in the end (especially because in some cases swimmers will compete in both)

BTW, with swimming added (at least to the nations we're already know the numbers), USA has now more qualified athletes than Peru. I wonder what was the last time the host nation didn't have the most athletes?

Of course that's mostly because Peru withdrew from some sports (like Basketball) and didn't use the full quota in others.

I think a qualification tournament is scheduled for June 28-30 which is funny because entries are supposed to be closed by June 26

You can submit athletes who wont eventually go. The name deadline is for not adding a new names to system.

Brazil announced its Athletics team with 51 athletes. We have now 477 athletes and this should be our final number pending the possibility of winning the last spot in Men's Rugby.

Are all the best athletes named to the team?

    • Yes, that's Haaland's cousin Braut Brunes. If he has a bad day Raków is usually scrapping for 1-0 victory unless they concede a goal. Ivi Lopez is the playmaker but he's not as sharp since an injury last season.   Lech & Jagiellonia are the two strongest clubs right now, Raków probably #3. I discount league surprises and of course Legia which is stuck in relegation zone
    • On transfermarkt, Raków is worth 42 million euros and Jagiellonia only 32, but it is known that this is only a theory. On paper, the most valuable clubs in Poland are Lech and Raków: €42 million each. Raków have a strong Norwegian attacker from what I can see on internet.
    • Fiorentina gets another  club Raków Czestochowa in R16     Raków manager Marek Papszun moved to Legia lately and the club is slightly less demanding than Jagiellonia IMO. They're unlikely to score more than 1-2 goals in a game even in our league but have a better defense.
    • Fiorentina must play seriously from the first match, becous they played with a reserve squad in both matches against Jagiellonia, with the exception of extra time in the second. Unfortunately, Fiorentina are still close to the relegation zone in Serie A, which explains the staff decisions in the Conference League. It they advance further, they will probably play against Crystal Palace in 1/4 final.
