So DR gets bronze and :PUR and :CUB fight it out for gold. Though I imagine Cuba will win easily...

The two time defending champions may have something to say about that.

Y’all couldn’t even qualify the men’s softball team that’s won how many times in a row? I’ll take none of this foolish Canadian pride from you sir.

Looks like Canada will send its A team in track and field. Only 2-3 big names haven't declared yet.

Here is the tracker:https://athletics.ca/tracking-lists/?id=38

:HAI did qualify in judo, in the 73 kg for men.

Little nations are doing big things this year. I’m really liking the diversity of these games. Hopefully this means the quality of Pan American sport is increasing, especially amongst non-powerhouses (USA, CAN, BRA, ARG, COL, MEX)

It helps that the world champs are in September-October.

:VEN looks to have declined a quota in 57 kg judo, next in line is :BAH

I think Mexico is next in line, unfortunately for Bahamas

According to my calculations here are provisional quotas for Judo after Pan American rankings:

:ARG +11

:BRA +14

:CAN +11

:CHI +5

:COL +9

:CRC +1

:CUB +14

:DOM +10

:ECU +4

:ESA +1

:GUA +2

:HAI +1

:HON +1

:JAM +1

:MEX +9

:NCA +1

:PAN +3

:PUR +4

:USA +13

:URU +1

:VEN +10

:PER will likely decline +78 giving the spot to :TRI. Which means :BAH misses out on two quotas by one spot each.

    • On transfermarkt, Raków is worth 42 million euros and Jagiellonia only 32, but it is known that this is only a theory. On paper, the most valuable clubs in Poland are Lech and Raków: €42 million each. Raków have a strong Norwegian attacker from what I can see on internet.
    • Fiorentina gets another  club Raków Czestochowa in R16     Raków manager Marek Papszun moved to Legia lately and the club is slightly less demanding than Jagiellonia IMO. They're unlikely to score more than 1-2 goals in a game even in our league but have a better defense.
    • Fiorentina must play seriously from the first match, becous they played with a reserve squad in both matches against Jagiellonia, with the exception of extra time in the second. Unfortunately, Fiorentina are still close to the relegation zone in Serie A, which explains the staff decisions in the Conference League. It they advance further, they will probably play against Crystal Palace in 1/4 final.
