Swimming - Qualification Tracker - Totallympics

So if you take a look at the Totallympics swimming qualification tracker, I've updated each event to include universality swimmers based on the latest report by World Aquatics. Also included are OQT swimmers and potential OCT swimmers. Just ignore the athlete counts for now since I haven't updated that yet.

The list is only about 95% accurate due missing universality times from the last 4 days of the qualifying period (e.g. Mexico) and some NOCs not yet confirming events for swimmers but it should give an idea of roughly how many swimmers there will be in each event and who will be in them.

so Timor, Brunei and everything can we remove them from the list?

the unqualified nations list?

I wouldn't do that yet. It's possible they could still reject their universality places. I'm just temporarily putting all the universality athletes in their events for now.

That was one of the names I was confused about. He's still listed as competing in the 100m freestyle on the latest universality report and I don't remember him bettering his 50m freestyle time at the European Championships, so who knows? . I just want the official entry lists to come out already.

I seriously have no idea how it works or why it is how it is :d but, what I know is that he received the invitation (Slovak Swimming federation, TV News and NOC confirmation) and his goal will be to attack the 22 seconds barrier in the Paris pool (His own words).

Our NOC and the federation already oficially nominated him for the 50m Freestyle event last Friday. (In other hand I would not be surprised if at the end it will turn out to be a terrible costly mistake by everybody involved)

Ok cheers. I think it's best I leave the list as it is as it'll get clogged up with swimmers who'll most likely won't qualify as an OCT. But I'm glad you told me this as not only is it less work for me to do but I now know that only :GBR James Guy can compete for us in the 100m Fly instead of :GBR Joe Litchfield who I originally thought would do so.

My understanding (as discussed on SwimSwam a while ago) is that relay only athletes cannot enter any events unless they are invited with an OCT. Just because a relay only athlete has an OCT doesn’t automatically mean they are allowed to enter the individual event.

This is my understanding of it (and was how it worked in Tokyo fwiw)

Right OK, that seems a fair understanding. I'll try to edit them in with brackets but it could look a little confusing a mess up the order of some of the athletes.
