You know when your at the Ukrainian folk festival, and you think to yourself, “this just isn’t lit enough.” Problem solved.

Don’t mean to be rude, but you are being naïve.  All these anti-whiteness, diversity training sessions are directly inspired by Maoism.  Ditto the destruction of historic monuments, the revision of University syllabuses, mass struggle against Professors - all classic Maoism, created and designed by lifelong Maoists like Bill Ayres & the Weather Underground.

Well, you’re entitled to believe your conspiracy theories. I’m not going to waste my time addressing them though.

My argument is clear, Sweden isn't any example why USA should be a sociallist democracy to begin with for the reasons I stated above. Hence there is nothing to learn, period.

Okay, so just so I can be clear what your argument is, you said: Sweden has social stability and hasn’t fought in many modern wars. The US lacks social stability and has fought in basically every modern war. Americans look up to Sweden as a model of a better society. Americans are dumb for doing so.”

So your argument is: Sweden has better social stability and is more peaceful than the US, and Americans are dumb for wanting to follow their example, even though the US lacks social stability and struggles to stay out of conflicts.

I don’t understand why Americans shouldn’t want our society to be more like Sweden’s then, if they have better social stability and stay out of more conflicts? It seems like Americans should want to be more like Sweden given those two points.

USA is always the teacher on the global scale, they tell everyone else what to do. They never listen :p

That literally explains nothing about your original argument, and doesn’t answer my question about your argument!

Sweden is a country that hasn't had any mass protests for like 100 years, never takes part in any wars since Napoleon was fricking alive - it's like a totally opposite country to USA who has mass riots every 5 years and gets involved in every single God damn war since the isolationism policy ended with FD Roosevelt. Yet US liberals bring up Sweden as the golden utopia that should be followed :pNo wonder US society is considered dumb by rest of the world.

This argument is so confusing. “Sweden is great because they have social stability, and haven’t fought in many recent wars. As where the United States lacks social stability, and has fought in basically every modern war. Americans look up to Sweden as an example, and they’re dumb for that.”

So, you’re arguing that Sweden isn’t the better or the two, and that the US shouldn’t attempt to learn from their example?

I guess we didn’t fight in WW1 then :p (Monroe Doctrine ended with Woodrow Wilson when he got us involved in World War 1, and established the League of Nations)

Yeah, but Americans don’t know that.  It just sounds better to say “We want Swedish-style socialism” than it does to say the truth which is “We want Chinese-style Socialism.”

Yeah, I don’t know many, if any, Americans who want that.

Sanders as a sociallist would quickly draw ire from the Silicon Valley and Wall Street who have more internal power than the President himself.

The same Silicon Valley that voted for him over Biden in the primaries?

Let's don't compare a country with a population of 5 million which is like half of the New York urban area to USA :p It's like comparing Alabama going 12-0 in SEC and Coastal Carolina going 12-0 in Sun Belt :roflmao:

We’re comparing political ideology, not population proportions. Plus, by your own reasoning, no one could ever compare communist Poland to the United States, so you disagree with the original argument anyways.

Ask your grandparents.  “Biden”* is attempting to turn the USA into the kind of country Poland was 1945-1989.

If Biden is the greatest communist since the fall of the Iron Curtain, then I can’t even imagine the horror New Zealanders are going through under Jacinda Ardern. I mean they must be starving, and deprived of all freedoms! Oh wait...

That's called partisanship, though.

Which is pronounced in America more than anywhere else.

And telling your supporters to march on the Capitol Building, in order to try and upend the democratic process...is that just typical partisanship as well?

Interesting statement, which sums it up pretty well. American liberalism has always seemed too 'Conform, or else!' for my liking.

Yeah because nothing says “freedom” like conservatives bending over backwards to join Trump’s cult of personality, and then defend it for four years.

A sad day: the last day of Donald Trump like USA president, 4 years without wars......with Biden, the chinese empire will do whatever they want, after Reagan, the best president i see from USA.

If Fascism comes to America...conservatives will elect it. They already did once.

Trump didn’t start war, but he tired hard as hell to start one with Iran. He pulled the US out of WHO (and refused to join a global research effort to stop Covid), the Free Skies Treaty, the Paris Climate Accords, etc. His border policy separated children from their parents, and put them in cages. He endorsed white supremacy movements throughout his presidency.
