phelps 6,862 Posted May 27, 2018 #10 Share Posted May 27, 2018 they should keep the 1000m as the only "Olympic distance" (like 2000m is the olympic distance in Rowing) and have 12 Olympic races (K1, K2, K4, C1, C2, C4 for both men and women) over that length... but I'm not the IOC...
