  1. Yes, but this was like 3 years ago?
  2. Well, I think it's a very "artistic" sport that many people like to watch. Obviously I'm biased because in Brazil it seems very popular during the Pan Ams (open TV show the whole competition), maybe because Brazil wins the most golds in the team events. But it's like Figure Skating here (the most popular winter sport), which I don't think many people know how the scoring works, but watch it for the beauty?
  3. I don't think they will. This seems like a sport people like to watch even when they have no knowledge of it?
  4. Nations that didn't qualify anyone yet: Will they qualify anyone outside of Athletics/Swimming?
  5. First quota for Haiti!
  6. I hope Brazil send someone, but probably no one from the big stars will go.
  7. Apparently Brazil can still participate according to our committee? Apparently we had/have some quotas in this event, but the federation maybe won't send anyone
  8. Well, I guess the athlete had the right to compete, but they should've put him under some kind of "neutral" flag or something. For now, I've placed him under "PASO" in the first post.
  9. Well, the post is for participating nations, so...
  10. Now it is, just don't know where to place Curacao's quota in Karate
  11. To my understanding, the song is eligible because of this rule: The song (released in August 2017) seems to be the first single from the album, which was released in 2018 and includes the song. So it's perfectly eligible unless I'm missing something.
  12. The singer's album was released in 2018, so the song is eligible.

  14. Like he said, this result was from the Birmingham World Cup, which was an all-around event
  15. Also, maybe Brazil could be in a joint bid with Argentina and/or Colombia, arguably the three best teams in South America (sorry, Bolivia). But I think it will take more time to have a Women's World Cup in SA.
  16. Nations interested in hosting the 2023 Women's World Cup: https://www.fifa.com/womensworldcup/news/fifa-receives-record-number-of-expressions-of-interest-in-hosting-fifa-women-s-w I would say Australia (first WC in Oceania) and Japan (previous winner, never hosted) are probably favourites? Unified Korea would be "interesting" (first to be hosted by more than one country), but I don't know how it would work...
  17. Does anyone has a list with the Karate quotas from yesterday? I only know about Brazil's (3 individual + 2 Kata teams)
  18. Yes, Lula is arrested and should remain this way for a long time. Dilma was never arrested, nothing was ever proved against her and was later found that she had nothing to do with the reasons she was impeached (that's why she still has full political rights). She's the one among them all that don't have to worry about jail. She was incompetent, but my opinion remains that she should have never be impeached (especially considering her replacement was Temer, now a felon). But I digress... I hope soon this operation reaches our current president, who himself is surrounded by corruption. But I doubt a thing will be done unless he screws Brazil (which is not that hard to believe since he's really dumb).
  19. When I say Brazil is not for beginners... Michel Temer, president from August 2016 to December 2018, was just arrested (some might remember him from his very brief appearance at the Rio Olympics open ceremony). Funny thing is that Dilma Rousseff, the one that was impeached and replaced by Temer, is probably at home laughing at this whole mess. Next one: Bonosaur
  20. I didn't though Chile was good at that sport but they won silver at last year's Pan American Championship. Maybe they think they can steal a gold medal from Argentina.
