  1. Yes. And I think this is why FIBA is threatening with the Olympic ban. If all these teams can't play at World Championships and Olympic Games, it would hurt them more. But it would also really hurt Basketball as a sport. FIBA can't honestly want that.
  2. Netherlands actually finished eleventh at the World Championships, ahead of Ukraine, Spain and Romania. On the other hand, Romania and Spain have already more points today than Netherlands at the World Championships. @Benolympique Your women have a good chance to qualify.
  3. Artistic Gymnastics, Men's Team Germany +5
  4. Very likely. One of the remaining teams needs to finish behind France.
  5. You are right. It's and instead. Thanks.
  6. Ingo Weiss, the president of the German federation, confirmed, that they have gotten a FIBA-Letter asking them about the Qualification tournament. But I cannot believe that FIBA will ban all these countries. They probably exect them to cancel the Champions League now under this additional pressure.
  7. According to German news agency SID, the FIBA has asked German federation today, if they had "a general interest" to host an Olympic Qualifier. So this means the banned teams might not be allowed to play at the Olympics or the Qualification tournaments either.
  8. Is there a site with live results?
  9. Aquatics: 2 Athletics: 6 Boxing: 0-1 Canoeing: 7 Cycling: 7 Equestrian: 5 Fencing: 0-1 Gymnastics: 1 Judo: 2 Mod. Pentathlon: 1 Rowing: 4 Sailing: 1 Shooting (including Archery): 3-4 Table Tennis: 2 Taekwondo: 0-1 Team Sports (including Beach Volleyball): 2-3 Tennis: 1 Wrestling: 1
  10. Yay. But it's 53kg, at least if it's Nina Hemmer.
  11. Thank you. So Nina Hemmer still has a chance.
  12. Could someone please post a link? I don't find them. Thanks.
  13. Then why do they even compete in this tournament?
  14. Germany won two medals in London, and our women have become better since then. Okay, 2/3 of the reasons why our women have become better are from China. But still, they do have a good chance in the team event. As do our men and Ovtcharov in the single event.
  15. I really hope that Germany will win two medals. That's not unrealistic.
  16. Is Slovenia automatically qualified if they win against Iran?
  17. How does the draw against Denmark help Norway? they are out if they lose to Croatia.
  18. Linke, Pohle and Nils Brembach all fulfilled the German National Standards for Rio.
  19. Our women won't be in a group with China. Since Australia is in our group, China won't be, because Australia is playing for the Asian federation. So it's either Canada or New Zealand from that pot.
  20. That's not possible, if they want to keep the teams from the same confederations apart. Because Fiji and Algeria won't be in the same group. Fiji is either with Denmark or Germany in the group, and South Africa is with the other one of Germany and Denmark in a group.
  21. So Germany's women will definitely be in a group with Australia since France and Sweden are in our confederation? And the men will have either South Africa or Fiji in their group, since it can't be Portugal or Sweden? Or did I misunderstand this?
  22. Then why aren't the four European teams in the same pot?
