  5. So super hyped with this unbelievable generation 2002/03/04 This squad composed of 16 & 17 years boys just beat U20 in a friendly match 5-2 After so many years there really bright future ahead of us, this generation may already show something in Cortina 2026. 16 year old Slafkovský today 2+1, Chromiak 1+2, 15 years old Dvorský 1+1, 17 year old Šimon Nemec basically without single mistake in defence So sad and unfair this generation never had the opportunity to present themselves at U18 international ice. since our U18 in 2019 was relegated from top division, this generation was already expected to play last year 2020 in the division I A and quickly return to the elite but due the covid the tournament was cancelled, sadly the same happened this year as well...apart the top division all other tournaments are cancelled and our U18 will must stay in lower tier another year, in other hand majority of the team will be eligible in U18 for next 1-2 years so hopefully the likes of Slafkovský, Dvorský, Bečar or Nemec will play this age catehory top division in 2023

  15. @rybak I have to apologize, I just got a vaccination invitation for Saturday. I just received an email and sms for Saturday at 13:20. Since the place is a bit far from my place of residence, I estimate that I could be back at home around cca 16:30, thus I will not be able to send my votes. I would like to ask you to send my votes, I will send you the modified templates with the Slovak greetings via PM today. Thank you for your understading.

  18. Sagan major problem is that we have only 2 quotas, something which was long years his strongest part when did not need the help of colleagues, today sadly no longer applies. the competition is younger and stronger. he can hardly win alone now. against stronger and more numerous teams basically impossible. The truth is that Olympic success is the only thing he lacks in his resume and we know how he can make miracles when focusing...Vino won in London so starnger things happen in sport. but I'm afraid Tokyo is unrealistic for him anyway. as I said. Mixed Team Trap and Canoe Slalom M C1 (event we never failed to medal since the independence and our first Olympic participation in Atlanta 1996, so hopefully we will be able to continue this tradition, Slafkovský, Beňuš or the immortal Michal Martikán are all able to win a medal) should be our best medal chances, maybe even gold in a given day. Outside of them, M & W Trap, W Skeet, M 50km Race Walk and Canoe Sprint M K4-500m may also be counted as event with some decent chances for us.
  19. You know that I agree 50km + Canoe Slalom C2 & K4-1000m removal were almost a criminal act from IOC oh Tóth should do well, no worries, his trainings are just unbelievable, himself saying he is feeling better than it was before the Beijing WCh..., but I do not want to say more, because you know jinx etc... so yeah JPN boys are the top favs
  20. He may be a medal contender for sure, but honestly I do not think Alex or any other european will be capable to beat the home starters Kawano & Suzuki
  21. Nice to see someone in this planet predicting gold for Sagan 3 golds is unrealistic, we won 3 golds during a single olympic edition only once, in Beijing (all 3 in canoe slalom, 2 of them in some 30 minutes lol)
  22. He is the NR holder with 3:36:something, and yes he is considered as the main favorite in Sapporo. but again this event may end in completely different way. until the 30th-35th kilometer of the race it is impossible to even start predicting the winner
  23. 1-5-10 I am more interseted by the 2022 WOG predictions. monobob gold ahead of USA silver & Bronze Norway winning 25 golds Switzerland winning 9 golds and I find it funny how they insist that all 3 medals of Poland will be only silver
