  5. Thanks. Added. Yeah, that´s a shame, Josi would be another huge addition, anyway your team is already looking great, for me is a clear medal contender, and who knows, maybe this year is finally that year for the Nati to join the golden club
  6. Done. All 16 Teams rosters have been added. You can find as always the link for each country in the opening post of this tread Here Remember, Each team is still allowed to make changes. Tonight at the Directorate meeting they have to name at least 15 skaters and 2 Goalies ! and then they are allowed to add any name they want up to 22 Skaters and 3 goaltenders, whenever they wish until the roster is full. Here The Players Eligibility Rule The teams submit the names of the participating players at the first Championship Directorate. The maximum number of players allowed on a Team Registration Form at the beginning of the World Championship is 22 skaters and 3 goalies. The minimum is 15 skaters and 2 goalies. At the first Directorate meeting, the teams must name at least the minimum number of 15 skaters and 2 goalkeepers. The players entered must be present at the championship venue by the time of the Directorate meeting. The remaining players up to the allowed maximum of 22 + 3 must be submitted for players' control two hours before any of the following championship games. Players can be added throughout the tournament until the roster is full. During a game, a team may enter (dress) 20 skaters and 2 goalkeepers on the Official Game Sheet, with the emergency goalkeeper standing by if a goalie entered to the Official Game Sheet is unable to play.

  8. While the whole hockey planet is preparing for the World Championships which will start tomorrow in Finland... in the other part of the globe, organized a mini-3- teams-tournament in the huge St. Petersburg arena, a former USSR championship You imagine, the arena full of enormous former soviet superstars like Tretiak, Mikhailov, Kasatonov, Datsyuk etc.. and super happy fans waving russian flags, celebrating and pushing their glorious national team to the triuph against opponents from and Yes, because to the complete shock of local authorities declined the invitation for obvious reason (since they prefered to play the world championships) They just added the Russian U20 Nationa Team to the tourney. Interesting was that all naturalized Canadiens and Americans suddenly disappeared and Belarus fielded a roster completely of BLR born players for the first time since the invention of wheel, their head coach, the Canadian Woodcroft is still here, he even signed a new deal with BLR federation for next 2 years. The fact that the guy is a bit disoriented was generally well known, but that so much ! This is really surprising, he even mentioned after the matches what a marvelous chance, what a great opportunity for his young players to shine in such huge tournament... Team Russia obviously won the tourney, The local TV showed how the captain received a beautiful trophy infront of super excited local fans No single mention that world hockey continuing to live without the Russians/Belarussians and it will hardly change anytime soon… If anyone interested here the results Exhibition Games (1st and 2nd May in Tula, Russia) - 5-2 - 3-2 after Overtime "Ex-USSR" or however the name of the Tournament was (6th-8th May in St. Petersburg, Russia) Gold Medal Match: - 3-2 1. 2. 3. U20

  12. what is surprising me the most is that Italy has nobody listed in the broadcast rights for the tournament (even has ) https://blob.iihf.com/iihf-media/iihfmvc/media/2022wm/broadcast/2022_iihf_wm_-_bp_list_20220511.pdf but in other hand this mean the all Youtube matches streams will be available in Italia

  21. Looks a pretty solid roster. The most notable absence being certainly Miceli due injury and Ihnacak not called anymore. But great goaltending is secured with Bernard and Fadani in the net. It is going to be a disagreeable opponent for everyone for sure Anyway Diego Kostner ? I was sure the guy already retired and who the hell is Brandon Mc Nally ?

  25. According to this, there some temporary ice venues in Portugal Diaspora While Andorra has its own ice rink, Liechtenstein, the other microstate participating in Füssen, hasn’t. Its players practise their ice hockey in neighboring countries Austria and Switzerland. Nor does Algeria. The players on its roster live in the diaspora and have Algerian roots and mainly developed their hockey skills abroad, like France or Great Britain. Unfortunately, Dundalk Ice Dome, the only regulation size Irish ice rink, closed a few years ago, in 2010. However, there is hope that a new ice rink will open in the future to give the program another boost. In the meantime, the Irish travel to neighbour Northern Ireland to hit the ice in Belfast. Portugal has had some temporary ice venues and developed its ice hockey program via inline hockey as did Colombia. However, the latter is making a lot of progress having participated several times in the Amerigol Cup in Florida winning the 2018 edition and recently participated in the Dallas Spring Classic, an event powered by NHL club Dallas Stars. In Fussen they showed their mastery of the game coming out on top with four wins and one tie winning the tournament.
