At the end IIHF finally decided that no one from the higher divisions would be relegated to the lower ones, on the contrary, as many teams from lower divisions were automatically moved up to the higher categories to fill the number of 6 participants. This means that no team from last year Division III Group A was relegated here, in the contrary already 4 teams from last year Division IV ( )were automatically added to join the 2 remaining teams from this division (3rd of last year and last of last year Div IIIB ) for this year Division III Group B Tournament. A classic Round-Robin Format Tournament will be played, Every team will play once against each opponent. The 1st Ranked Team will qualify for the next year Men´s Division III Group A World Championship, The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Ranked Nations will stay in this category also for the next edition.
