Well I can only be onboard with one of those, but it’s the right one. Im all over the place with my favored teams though, I like the Lions (obviously), for NBA I like the Milwaukee Bucks (and the was before they acquired Gainnis), MLB team is the Pirates, NHL team is the Kings/Ducks, MLS team is LAFC

But if countries put time and effort into their teams, the level will improve. Plus, some of highly sexist attitudes of sports officials and enthusiasts must change.

It’s just a sad, sad situation (and not one helped by are medical system). I had the privilege of watching her run at the 2016 Olympic Trials and she was always positive and fun to watch. She will be missed by the track community.

Well, there is complete live-streaming of the games, so I will probably do a short review of each event. There two main weekends of action, so I’m thinking 2 “special podcasts” for the games.

Well I’m staying for 10 days in Tokyo. We are using our flyer miles to make the flights essentially free. I made a habit of purchasing only nose bleed tickets (catagories C,D,E unless the lowest option was B), and we’re getting in shape so we can walk from venue to venue. I think I’ll be able to get 2 catagory E tickets to the women’s 100m final session for around $102. The most expensive tickets for me were rowing (on a day with finals/ and eights action). If everything goes to plan I should be able to see upwards of 10 gold medals awarded.

For our special coverage of the 2019 African Beach Games and 2019 European Games would you guys prefer a)small daily podcasts b)one large special podcast c)weekly segments on the weekly update d)small video highlights (if possible) e)event by event write ups on my personal blog with links to each story put in one post I would really like feedback so I can prepare. I just want to know what you guys want when it comes to big events. I may do these types of things in the future for multi-sport games, Olympics, world cups, World Championships, etc. Feedback is necessary to create a production you guys are happy with.

I’d say do Continental semifinals (best 2 advancing), and then a grand final of the 12 winners.

I thinking that we run it the week (or two) before the Tokyo games begin. Users just need to say that they’re country is participating, or we allow all anthems to participate, and then users vote (method TBD), and the podium is revealed the day of the opening Ceremony.

Well, by that definition OJ probably killed is wife and maybe stole some stuff, but that was a while ago so he should still be remembered as a hero . It wasn’t just the Sweden thing at the Olympics by the way. The difference between her and Gatlin is that Gatlin has made up for his previous mistakes, Solo has not. Her playing for the team makes me want to cheer against them and hope they lose.

I had an idea a while back... What if during (of right before) the Tokyo 2020 games we have a TISC special competition that only features national anthems? I think that it wouldn’t be a lot of work. It could be done in 1-2 weeks top. Anyone could host if they wish. Any country could play even if they don’t meet normal TISC requirements. Thoughts? Yes, I know we just voted down a similar proposal, but I think this one is different, much easier to put on, and worth a try.

So I may have missed the game becuase I was on a college tour, so I was a little shocked to see the score. That’s just excessive ladies, though at least they spent time comforting Thailand after the game. Chile is a worse team than Thailand according to my research, so this record may not stand. The Chile game may be worse...

Tickets aren’t to bad in terms of prices by the way. I did not have to sell my kidney on the black market to afford them. I’ll post what I’m going to see after my tickets get confirmed.
