  1. Still 24 seconds behind Peiffer, it's a lot... But a medal for sure.
  2. And Weger 6th! Edit: well, 7th apparently
  3. Smart choice to start after everyone I guess
  4. Yeah they said about 9 km/h of wind which is not too much. -19C however
  5. Interesting that Fourcade will start his race after his main opponents will have finished. Go Benjamin Weger! Cadurisch did the race of her life yesterday (finished 8th when her best rank this season was 43), please do the same, come on!
  6. The race between Bloemen and Pedersen was quite entertaining to watch! Impressive Kramer...
  7. I should've read the rules better Oh well, it's not like I would've scored many points anyway.
  8. On Day 2, I'll probably watch the Biathlon's Men 10km Sprint and the Ladies' Moguls qualifications, hoping Scanzio makes it to the final. Depending on when I wake up, I'll start the day with the Men's 15km + 15km Skiathlon (come on DARIO!!!) And I'll keep everything crossed in my sleep for our alpine skiers in the Men's Downhill
  9. No official word yet but David Hablützel will probably follow suit...
  10. Despite starting with another loss, the mixed curlers made it through to the QFs by beating South Korea 6-4 so the day started well for Switzerland . Then Nathalie von Siebenthal won an Olympic diploma in cross-country. It's a good result despite the fact that she led most of the race apparently (haven't watched it). I watched the biathlon, it was an interesting race with the wind element. Kudos to Dahlmeier for being perfect with the rifle, quite an impressive performance for the German. Then back to my countrymates as I watched part of the 8-0 victory over Korea in Women's ice hockey . The Korean goalie , despite conceding 8 goals saved 44 shots (!!!) She seems quite talented and I've heard that she's the first Korean to play in the US, no wonder. Shortly after, it was time for one of my favorite winter sports, ski jumping. And what an event it was! Very windy therefore super cold, the conditions were not ideal for the jumpers. I was happy to see both Swiss make it into the final round but then it was a tough one. Simon Amman had to wait about 15 minutes (!!!) before finally being able to jump. Credit to him for giving all he had and almost make the same distance as in the initial round. He ended up 11th but he seemed happy and, knowing the winter he just had and also everything he went through these last few years, it's a decent performance. But THE surprise came with Kamil Stoch not winning a medal!!! After he won all 4 contests of the 4 Hills Tournament, I expected him to sweep these Games but he wasn't at his best. No Polish jumper made it onto the podium. Stunning jump by Wellinger for gold, well deserved! Looking forward to what Day 2 will bring
  11. On Day 1, I'll try to watch SUI vs COR in Women's Ice Hockey and the Normal Hill Ski Jumping event. Maybe SUI vs KOR in Curling Mixed Doubles too.
  12. Boooooo Yeah but this year is an even year, if you know what I mean
  13. Now that's a good news! And with Spring Training around the corner, an even better news!!! Can't believe we're gently coming out of the tunnel, finally! My favorite team is the Blue Jays, luckily I've been to 14 of their games between 2014 and 2017. I also like the Dodgers a lot, my favorite NL team. Also, I play Fantasy Baseball and love it
