  1. Mind a newbie ask a question? I picked two random shooting events from 2016 Olympics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_at_the_2016_Summer_Olympics_–_Men's_10_metre_air_rifle and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_at_the_2016_Summer_Olympics_–_Men's_10_metre_air_pistol and I see there have been 46 and 50 shooters participating. Now when I check https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_at_the_2020_Summer_Olympics_–_Qualification#10_m_air_rifle_men (or any other discipline) I see there are 29 quotas available. Does that mean we'll see only 29 shooters at actual Olympics? Seems quite steep of a step down in terms of number of participants...
  2. All hidden now @Sindo. No need to delete my post there, as I'll edit my predictions there later.
  3. None of the posted predictions are hidden. Problem with the site, as I doubt all of them forgot [ hide ][ / hide ] tags...?

  5. Ghosts! How did that stone went sideways that fast? Never the less, draw for a win, Switzerland. And they did it! Didn't give them much chance some hours ago, to be honest. Congrats!
  6. They were a bit too overconfident. Not sure why, because Swiss didn't really made big mistakes today at all.
  7. Interesting strategy from Sweden, could've been 7-6 for them, but they willingly let Swiss score so they can have the hammer. So, 7-6 Switzerland.
  8. 6-6, ninth end to start, Sweden with a hammer.
  9. To the Summer Olympic Sports sections!
  10. Nice try, Bolshunov and Harvey. Brought yourselves to the chance of winning it. I like Bolshunov's approach to races, even though it's probably not the smartest one. He just presses on, but losses in finishes.
  11. Maybe she changes her mind and really goes to sleep tonight after all.
  12. She'll be only 29 next season. I hope she doesn't have retirement in plan any time soon.
  13. And now he's 10 of 10 at standing and will win with 30+ seconds. There's absolutely no fun in that.
  14. I think it's pretty simple, I'd rather not a dominator to win, be it Fourcade, be it Boe. He won 15 times! Way too much.
  15. This race needs a good old fashioned shooting meltdown from Johannes. Finish the season in style, lad!
  16. "So much pressure!" in this race apparently.
  17. Hrrmm, Klaebo might have fallen, because in another 800 meters lost another 13 seconds...? Stupid Eurosport, this race would've fit right before biathlon. But nooooo, we have to watch replay of boring ski jumping. Guess not, another kilometer, another 10 seconds, Russian and Canadian are giving it all! Hmm, to stop following it or not? And enjoy the replay after biathlon...lets try that and hope for a good finish.
  18. Bonus seconds in mass start races, just me, or quite stupid and very unfair to lower ranked racers? Anyway, can't watch, but looks like Bolshunov and Harvey took 15 seconds of Klaebo at 5 km.
  19. Annoying how Makarainen is just an unimportant blimp in the second part of the season.
  20. ES commentators trying to hype the end, but Hanna is pretty pretty safe.
  21. Lousy ending...well, for some of my favourites. Hope Oeberg manages to win, and Egan to pass Eckhoff.
