I repeat myself 1000 times here but… for me Olympics is 2.5 weeks off-work every two years vacations, relaxing times and i just wonder will i ever be able to watch the games calmly, without alerts on my phone scaring me all the time, like it was because of RUS back in 2008, 2014 and 2022… just 2.5 weeks of easy living… i know i am asking for too much here

Probably you are right. we here in Europe didn’t care about some other NOCs competing in some previous Olympics despite those countries starting unnecessary wars somewhere far away from us we are not without blame ofc

@Olympian1010 Why fight so hard to bring them back in to the fold at every turn? Maybe i am wrong, but i think French may be afraid that Russians will spoil the party somehow, if they are not invited to it. maybe this is why they don’t say loudly NO to this Asian quali idea i can’t think of any other reason

I wonder what China thinks about Russia in Asian qualis. It will be a bit harder to qualify in certain sports with Russia competing in Asian zone

Agree 100%. what i like here the most is this international perspective. on Polish media or forums you can basically read about the same things again and again. So it is very often that while i am reading it i say - this is very interesting but please tell me something i don’t know here you can see what people from all over the world have their focus on, and it is very interesting, not some usual stuff if we only get more active users representing some NOCs who are not here yet… but this time will come soon, i believe
