  1. Kejelcha seems to have broken the WR Question is if it's by 3-4 seconds (graphics) or by 1 second (time at the finish arch)
  2. Valencia half marathon is going on, a little under halfway to go and they're on WR pace with among others Yomif Kejelcha. https://www.valenciaciudaddelrunning.com/en/half/half-marathon/ Stream has frozen for some reason now, but who knows.
  3. Ai Ogura is the new Moto2 world champion! Next up in Thailand is the MotoGP, in what's going to be a wet race
  4. Am I correct that 16 nations have not voted yet..? I feel sorry for our host, and for the people who did vote, because that'd for sure mean lots of people's favourites would be out (and with this many, I doubt there are many, if any, full lists of 12 countries left...). Let's go guys.
  5. And there we go, takes the win by way of the rest either falling or being DQ'ed
  6. crashes out of the women's final in a fight with . Would be such a typical Italian win if gets thrown out and wins this way
  7. So now if you're number one, you are expected to wear some special helmet instead of the design you had made for yourself and which might have personal meaning?!
  8. Well, it could be worse. We do have Dutch commentary but the dude is so annoying I'd much rather have only the ambient sound
  9. Graphics seem...fine, I guess. Same as they were, just now it's with some sort of comic style and more focused on being 'flashy' instead of being useful. I guess it's more urban or something.
  10. Are commentators in your countries using these weird nickname stuff? I hear the English-language commentator in the background (maybe the stadium speaker?) talk about the Latvian Golden Stars and 'Jens van 't Wout of the Dutch Lions' and stuff, but Dutch commentator just says "Kruzbergs of Latvia, Park of South Korea" etc Luckily
  11. And no ISU officials, so yeah, it's definitely not going to count as a world record. Still an insane time though, what are people doing in October Edit: wtf Jilek, 12:46 and last week 6:15, the fuck
  12. Shiffrin throws it away and there's the first ever podium for Scheib!
  13. Scheib from 14th to being one place away from her first ever podium
  14. 18 minutes to go for what feels like the real start of the winter (I know, there's also some people who watched the big air, I'm speaking personally )
  15. Football player Zé Carlos. He played a single match for Brazil, but it wasn't a small one: his only international match for Brazil was the 1998 World Cup semi against the Netherlands (because of Cafu being suspended). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zé_Carlos_(footballer,_born_1967)
  16. I'm still going to keep my eternal hopes for kabaddi I highly doubt I'm going to be really aware of cricket's existence in LA, other than a quick glance at the results, but kabaddi...oh boy, that'd be on the list of high priority sports in my viewing schedule
  17. Good news Anyhow, start list for tomorrow is out
  18. Must be cool though, if you're from India: basically your country is the one and only reason for an entire sport being in the Olympics, even though it is entirely obvious that it is only for the money (if it was for the sport itself, there would obviously not be a tiny 6-team tournament)
  19. Looks like barely brought a team. 500m men - Itzhak de Laat, Daan Kos 500m women - Angel Daleman 1000m men - Sjinkie Knegt 1000m women - Diede van Oorschot 1500m men - Sven Roes 1500m women - Zoë Deltrap, Angel Daleman, Xandra Velzeboer Only one out of six distances with a regular, full team (and of course the relays)
  20. I believe here the only exception is ski jumping in Rasnov which isn't on Eurosport, the World Cup seasons for all FIS sports (and biathlon) should be on Eurosport/HBO here. As far as I know, at least
  21. I was not expecting this to come back Awesome! Including the full and easy to read schedule
  22. Yeah, but the organizer's phone crashed and for some reason it seems like your PM with votes went down the drain with it, if I'm reading it correctly If that's correct, all you'd need to do is check your PM's and just copy the message and send it again
  23. Sorry, the tweet you posted loaded way later here, now I see it That's better indeed, thanks! Although it is rather ironic that they came up with this whole World Tour shtick with one of the main reasons being 'uniformity' and the 'package' being consistent and all that corporate nonsense, and for the very first event we are depending on a local federation posting the times on social media instead of on....you know....the World Tour website
