It's not like anything actually changes for the contest, but on this specific occassion of TISC, the Dutch jury is voting in a different time zone (Brazil), so at 16:xx local time. I certainly don't want to cause any confusion though So never mind my request and carry on

Can the jury posting time for the Netherlands in the table on the first page be changed to 16:12 instead of 20:12? It'd avoid confusion for myself and might increase my chance of being able to post it @Hipooo

Same here, the only road in and out of the city has been blocked since yesterday. Luckily one doesn't need it when staying within the city, but being egocentric for a bit here: personally I do want to get to the airport next week (Thursday, still time)

Yeah, even if I was Christian, I wouldn't vote for this shit stain. I'm happy that most of the Christian Brazilians I know don't vote for this guy and are rather...disgusted by him using their faith for his gain Oddly enough, one of my very few really close friends does vote for him. It's odd, because this person is genuinely a great human being who one would absolutely not associate with the awful values of a Bolsonaro, I was rather shocked to hear of their political preference. Comes to show that not every single person who votes for someone one doesn't like, is immediately a bad person...although it does give mixed feelings.

Too bad Tarcisio won the governor race in SP, both because he seems like an asshole (but granted, Haddad has the charisma of a used wet wipe), and because it gives Team Bolsonaro something to celebrate here

This is fantastic. For me, I can sort of understand people who vote for Bolsonaro because they are strongly against Lula, or because they have their economic reasons or something. No way I would, but reasons like that I can kind of understand. What I seriously can't understand though is people who vote for him because of ethical reasons, or his non-existent morals. I don't know enough to make a judgment on his economic agenda and stuff like that, but people who vote for him because of his morals and such? No thanks, I can't really think of a more despicable human being among significant politicians.

Results of the last stage of the 9th season of the Brazilian rollerski circuit, where Bruna was - for the first time - not the winner in the women's category. She won the first season, tied with Gabi Neres, and won the 7 next seasons. Obviously she didn't compete this year. https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/event-details.html?sectorcode=CC&eventid=51368&seasoncode=2023 Some good observations: - First ever win for young Wilbert Rodrigues, a seriously impressive skier to watch. - Good amount of new young girls joining the FIS races, one or two of whom seem to be pretty promising for the next few years. They're 15 now, so plenty of time to grow, but boy does their technique look better than the 15-year olds of a few years ago! - The skiathlon, a rarity in the Brazilian circuit. Didn't catch the men's race, but I heard it was a really nice sprint finish. The women's race started with Gabi having the race of her life, gaining over half a minute in the 5k classic part - 10 seconds in the ski exchange alone. Awesome to finally see her start all-in, even though Mika Picin unsurprisingly caught up to her and clearly beat her in the freestyle part. Especially for the youngest girls, 10k is quite a new experience, and unlike the other races, which were at 08.30 or so, this race started at 10.40 in the morning, when it was already seriously burning hot. One of the young girls apparently fainted on the top of a climb, but got back up, finished the race and collapsed again right after the finish. The stand-by ambulance rushed to the finish line, and a little bit later she was transported off to the hospital. Last I heard is that she was doing relatively alright, so that's good. Apart from being sick in the first days, it was fun to watch a stage again after three years
