I doubt being full with adrenaline after a race he was thinking too much about the reactions on social media. He was also quite clearly not hindered. His hurdle moved, but his jump didn't change at all.

Canada and Germany those typical teams who take a relay serious and clearly train handovers more than just a few minutes before a major event. Jamaica on the other hand...especially with loners like Thompson

If it's the 4x100m, alright, but you mentioned not being able to count on a team in an event they have won (way) more often than not in recent decades and only lost a few consecutive times because the gold got stripped due to doping of one member US men's 4x400m not making the podium is sensational, let alone them not making the final..

XXX for Sven Roosen as well 4th place at the Olympics wasn't likely to be repeated, but he was at least on course for top-8 or so.
