Ireland and Canada both have more medals though, so one gold would shoot them up into first place. This session has seen the first three nations complete a full medal set: Ireland, Canada and Great Britain. As for the gaps, sadly Ireland has suddenly taken quite a big lead...in fact, the biggest of the entire competition with some margin! Obviously "sadly" doesn't mean they shouldn't win it, but the closer everything is, the better it gets
