    Another thing: why always the semi-autistic 'need' (I'm an autist so I can call it that ) to always have [Gender] [Sport] [Event] as thread titles, whereas in many cases, like Tour de France, that's just really unncessary. There is no 'Women's Sprint Canoeing Tour de France' or something, for the love of everything, just relax with these super tight North Korean-like rules

    Ah yeah, reading this brings back the memories of when you explained this over a year ago I remember it was sort of a big deal when he beat Khodabakhshi in Rio..(and I remember bookmakers hugely underestimated him, giving him odds of 50+ which unfortunately were only usable for people with physical access to a betting shop in the UK )

    Because Team Sky is hated for destroying every bit of excitement by looking at their Watts meter and riding up the mountain in a big train like a bunch of robots without ever doing anything remotely interesting at all Sort of like US Postal, but at least there sometimes it looked so ridiculous that it was kind of fun (Alpe d'Huez 2003 when they all sprinted up the mountain)
