It doesn't need to be 90 minutes. Why not half two halfs of 30 minutes actual time? That's more than enough to make a match last a little under two hours like now.

Oh Niang is soooo hurt now that it's 2-0 It's really so much time for football to enter the modern world and stop the time when a free kick/corner/penalty is being prepared or a substitute is taking place or a throw-in being taken etc.
