  2. Wow. Only a rumour of course, but still.
  3. Wait, this means there will be one 'throwing champion' and not a javelin champion, a discus champion and so on?
  4. What's a 'throw 1kg'?
  5. Tiger Woods found himself a lady when going on holiday in Ljubljana and now wants to live there and represent them?
  6. To be fair, one should also not be afraid to say they voted for Trump. People can agree or disagree with a certain candidate but in most cases someone who votes for candidate X isn't automatically stupid or something just because you and/or I don't agree with this specific candidate.
  7. I remember sharing my choice a few times and in the end always making that exact choice come election time, so...
  8. Yeah, but I don't see the IOC go to countries where saying the government is not super fantastic mega awesome gets you in jail.
  9. Who will you vote for, if you're ok with sharing that?
  10. In his sport I guess?
  11. Considering IOC hammering more and more on ethical values, I think Erzurum/Turkey not making it was to be expected..
  12. Dutch NOS says 'Youth Olympics, dafuq is that?'
  13. He put on his rainbow jersey just for the interview?
  14. Bert Romp, part of the 1992 Dutch Olympic gold medal winning show jumping team in Barcelona, has died aged 59 after a horse kicked him in the head. https://www.rtvnoord.nl/nieuws/199664/Voormalig-springruiter-Bert-Romp-overleden-na-trap-van-paard
  15. That would be awful, especially considering the way the money for sports (at least the smaller sports) has already been decimated in recent months...
  16. He's going quite steady
  17. This is quite often the case with these attempts: it's empty as shit. They should do it around the program of a 6-day race for example, when there's a lot of people.
  18. I think after hearing someone talk about him for 2 minutes earlier this year I have already decided seeing this person talk for 5 minutes is something I am not planning on wasting my time with...I really hope for some kind of Trump-like miracle in the elections (as in, Clinton for a long time seemed to win, but suddenly during the night Trump passed her and won - in this case obviously I hope Bolsonaro is the Clinton/surprisingly losing candidate in this story). I want to visit Brazil next year, my girlfriend and her family are Brazilian, my best friend who is not my girlfriend is Brazilian, several other friends are Brazilian, there's I don't even know exactly how many, many millions of people living there...yeah, don't wanna see some military dictator take over..
  19. Aaaand they're in the final after another penalties win over South Korea
  20. Both sort of funny and painfully sad (both pictures)
  21. Then why are the athletes in judo not called J-Boys and J-Girls?! This smells fishy as, I don't know, fish!
  22. By the way, these competition times are as close to perfect as anything is ever gonna be for me
  23. What's a B-Boy and a B-Girl? Have I missed something in the recent social discussions? https://www.buenosaires2018.com/results/en/breaking/daily-schedule-date=2018-10-07.htm
