    Well, it's become harder and harder to justify the building of a very expensive venue for a sport that barely exist in the country. It will be a different matter if an outdoor venue was a possibility like it was for the Lausanne YOG

    Nothing (yet) on french medias. We kwnow from the start, that no oval is going to be built for the games. I'd prefer a temprary venue somewhere in France, but Torino is still better than Norway or the Netherlands.

    You don't change regulations one year before the olympics and assume the host will change all its plans accordingly (specialy for a major venue like the swimming pool). The Olympics are not a 12 months project... It has to be assume that these new regulations are post-Paris. The Organizing Committee applied to the 2021-2025 regulations that were in force by then FINA.

    It has been know for years (right when the arena was chosen to host the swimming event actually) that it will be a 2 meter something deph pool. And then suddently, a japanese guy on twitter heard about it, claim - falsally - it doesn't fit with FINA rules and you gotta a new polemic on your hands. Gotta to love to host the Olympics

    Same here It can vary venue from venue though. I felt Bercy looks good with its blue/green colors. The temporary indoor venues, not so much.
