  1. I'm really disppointed with RSA's performance... they gave up way too many runs bowling and it was clear since the early overs that they couldn't keep the 6.x run rate with the bats in their hands...even De Kock and van der Dussen used really too many balls to score their 50s... tomorrow I hope my all-time favourites (West Indies) can deliver something spectacular against Pakistan...Chris Gayle deserves the most outstanding end of a great career...

  9. oh, yes...I misread the 2 columns... still, the problem with her inconsistency is there...she never does 3 balanced sections...she always has 1 of them killing her total score...
  10. 2019 World Cup, Stage #6 (Munich, GER) Women's 50m 3-Position Rifle Gold: Yulia Zykova Silver: Seonaid McIntosh Bronze: Katrine Lund Olympic Quota: Russia, Norway
  11. fu*k! Petra just missed out on the Olympic Quota (once again because of a shameful prone kneeling section)... Zykova and Lund take today's Olympic Quota... EDIT: it was the kneeling section the shameful one...still, the final result is the same...no quota for her...
  12. 2019 World Cup, Stage #6 (Munich, GER) Women's 50m 3-Position Rifle, Shooters Qualified to the Final Jolyn Beer Sanja Vukasinovic Katrine Lund Seonaid McIntosh* Shi Mengyao* Agnieszka Nagay Yulia Zikova Petra Zublasing *NOT eligible for Olympic Quota
  13. sure, there are still a few quota up for grabs at the last World Cup stage, at the European games and at next European Champs (plus the Ranking spot at the end of the whole qualification process)... Italy now desperately need Petra (Zublasing) to get back to her ancient shape...and we're gonna have a medal contending mixed team, too...
  14. 2019 World Cup, Stage #6 (Munich, GER) Men's 10m Air Rifle Gold: Filip Nepejchal Silver: Peter Gorsa Bronze: Yang Haoran Olympic Quota: Ukraine, Italy
  15. bronze for China... Croatia and Czech Republic fighting for gold in the last 2 shots...
  16. I wouldn't say that...we don't have a safe medal contender (like Quiquampoux) anymore...you have it!
  17. by the way, the 4 shooters fighting for the Olympic spots finish in the last 4 places...what a coincidence! what a surprise!
  18. finally, a 6th place in the end for Suppini (which is quite disappointing, but still the major task -getting the Olympic Quota- has been achieved, so we can still be happy with today's outcome)...
  19. wow! Tsarkov saves himself with a great shot, but it's the Austrian Schmirl to go out...and Suppini gets the Olympic Quota!!!! so, Italy and Ukraine get today's quota...
  20. 0.6 still...c'mon, man! the last shot...
  21. yess!!! the Korean is out...now we only need to keep the advantage over Tsarkov and Suppini goes to Tokyo...
  22. today Suppini had a wonderful qualification round...and once again it's gonna be 4 shooters for 2 Olympic Quota... let's hope Marco isn't gonna waste this great chance...
  23. and now we officially know the groups for the next World Champs, Switzerland 2020... Group A (in Lausanne) Canada Sweden Czech Republic Germany Slovakia Denmark Belarus* Great Britain *NOT going to be relegated, as they host the 2021 World Champs (together with Latvia) Group B (in Zürich) Russia Finland United States Switzerland Latvia* Norway Italy Kazakhstan *NOT going to be relegated, as they host the 2021 World Champs (together with Belarus) more details, here: https://www.iihf.com/en/events/2020/wm/news/13105/groups-2020
  24. it's quite normal for tournaments held outside Europe... also the Chicago Sabre World Cup last year and the Utah tournament this year, the already mentioned above Anaheim Foil GP, the Tunis women's Sabre World Cup, the Warsaw men's Sabre World Cup...all of them have been held in the exhibition hall of a hotel... unless you go to the 4/5 places where Fencing is a bit more popular (FRA/ITA/RUS/HUN...and I wouldn't add KOR because they never attend in big numbers to their own Sabre GP event), there's no need for (relitively) big arenas...
