mi sa che non hai idea delle differenze tra le nostre montagne e gli usa è un paragone semplicemente impossibile là, che tu ci creda o no, hanno una base di migliaia e migliaia di ragazzi che fanno sport seriamente fino almeno all'università che noi ci sognamo solo alla 10km dei campionati ncaa c'erano al via quasi 300 ragazze e più di 300 ragazzi (ed era una selezione già molto severamente qualificata) qui, se va bene, hai 10 ragazzi per categoria ai campionati giovanili quale movimento di quantità (e di qualità nella quantità) vuoi costruire con queste basi? e ripeto, non parliamo di progetti che costano, perché ormai siamo un paese povero e non ci possiamo permettere nient'altro che il colpo di fortuna, il fiore che sboccia nel deserto (sperando che ogni tanto ne spunti uno)

Conconi e il clamoroso laboratorio dell'Università di Ferrara) trascinatosi, grazie a un manipolo di veterani, fino a Torino 2006 e stop. la storia del fondo italiano è tutta qui. 10/15 anni di gloria in mezzo al nulla e, come dice la bibbia, cenere eravate e cenere tornerete ad essere...le belle storie prima o poi finiscono se non fanno parte di una cultura popolare ben radicata e in Italia la cultura (sportiva) è legata solo a calcio, ciclismo e motori, le uniche attività che non moriranno mai, neanche attraversando periodi bui come quelli attuali (e no, non è un caso che si è iniziato a vincere in tanti sport diversi non tradizionalmente nostri proprio quando i 3 più radicati hanno iniziato a vivere grandi difficoltà)

devo disegnarti una siringa gigante per spiegare i successi dei russi? 😈 da noi non ci sono abbastanza praticanti per sviluppare una squadra costantemente ai vertici nè c'è un sistema cui interessano realmente gli sport invernali siamo un paese mediterraneo e Roma-centrico, gli sport di neve e ghiaccio lontano dalle sempre più spopolate zone di montagna del nord -al sud non ci sono cmq infrastrutture- non interessano nessuno, tanto meno i media nazionali, che prendono ogni decisione in prospettiva "interesse da Roma in giù" con queste premesse, è inutile sperare in qualcosa che non può nascere, figuriamoci crescere godiamoci le eccezioni che spuntano senza un senso logico qua e là quando succede, ben sapendo che ci saranno sempre periodi buoni e altri meno buoni e che nessuno sport invernale sarà mai "eterno" perché nessuno è radicato nel profondo del paese ps ricordati che fino al 1992 non avevamo nemmeno mai vinto più di 2 ori o 10 medaglie ai giochi invernali, che non sono mai stati al centro dell'attenzione nazionale

Cortina is not Semmering, actually, it's better a late number than an early one on that track it's not about that, it's about the snow and the track in February...it's done for gliders and true dh specialists I'd be really surprised if the medallists are not 3 from this group: Puchner, Huetter, Vonn, Goggia, Ledecka, Lie, Aicher and Weidle (add Suter if she's back in her best shape, which I doubt)

semplicemente il disegno della pista, con curve troppo strette, non era adatto a lui quanto altri tracciati a San Candido quest'anno hanno disegnato un gigante da sci alpino dove se non eri davanti alla seconda curva eri fregato andrà meglio su altre piste (speriamo anche a Livigno)

siamo seri! lo snowboard alpino vince solo perché non c'è concorrenza sono tutti ultratrentenni, sia i nostri che gli avversari (specie al maschile) e gareggiano sì e no 4/5 paesi ci fossero un po' di praticanti giovani in giro per il mondo, saremmo in grossa difficoltà come negli altri sport godiamocela finché dura (o meglio, finché il cio non stacca la spina a questa geronto-disciplina)

con i se e con i ma non si fa nulla la pista avrebbe dovuto essere pronta prima e, soprattutto, dovrebbe avere caratteristiche tecniche diverse, ma abbiamo questa che è venuta pronta adesso ed è inutile continuare a lamentarsi, bisogna solo lavorare e sfruttare il tempo che rimane, che è abbastanza per garantirsi una conoscenza della pista superiore alla concorrenza tutto il resto, è solo inutile vittimismo per il resto, mi pare di parlare bulgaro 😤 noi non siamo la Lettonia, che la pista ce l'ha da decenni e in pratica vive di 3 sport, seguiti e praticati da tanti bambini noi abbiamo 4 gatti che fanno gli sport invernali (sci alpino a parte), non possiamo decidere di lasciare niente e nessuno per strada oltretutto con i miseri finanziamenti nostrani non ti garantisci nulla, ci paghi al massimo le trasferte stagionali non abbiamo le decine e decine di milioni di € dei tedeschi nè le loro case automobilistiche che sostengono e fanno ricerca anche per questi sport senza quello (ed è evidente che qui non ci sarà mai, visto che le infrastrutture e il knowhow della ferrari fanno più danni che altro), qualunque discorso è inutile, saremo sempre tecnologicamente un passo indietro e per favore, non facciamo paragoni insensati con la Russia, i regimi dittatoriali e paesi inclini al doping sistematico ai massimi livelli la nostra soddisfazione (impagabile) è vedere spuntare qua e là un Ghiotto, un Giacomel, un Deromedis...campioni che sono come un fiore sbucato nel deserto, stelle che illuminano sport che sono conosciuti a malapena dai parenti stretti degli atleti (e 4 sfigati, malati di sport come noi...quando va bene)

despite 2 gold and 1 silver (and the Nations Trophy), not an amazing championship for not winning a single medal in all the skiff/dinghy classes is not a good sign (even if we won many medals in the past few years, it's not a truly worrying long drought) tbh, the expectations were higher
