  3. yeah, very important to avoid Italian commentators in Football and a few other sports
  4. basically all the Exhibition center's halls look the same
  5. some channels will start already tomorrow (that one dedicated to Football, of course), at least here in Italy (I'm talking of the various platforms outside Discovery+/Max, however...but I think it will be the same on the main app and all around Europe)
  6. yes p.s. in the usual global races, the scores to be scratched are 4: 2 in the first 10 races (qualifiers) and 2 in the last 10 races (final races) I don't know what they're going to do at the Olympics, given that because of the limited number of athletes make all the races "finals", there's no need to split them in gold, silver, bronze fleet after 10
  7. yes, to all questions (there are 2 scores to be discarded in the 20 preliminary races)
  8. if the starters are fine, injuries won't play any role and let's be clear...for our girls, it's now or never...this generation has dominated the youth tournaments and now must put the icing on the cake, it's time for our Volleyball to win the first Olympic Gold medal and the guys, who are way more in trouble than the girls after Anzani's loss, also have to fill that damn void I'm confident that at least 1 gold will come...and the magic double is also not impossible Tonight I'm on the positive side Tomorrow is another day
  9. actually, Crouser has more serious problems...he's dealing with blood clots, his training regime is not the same as it was 2+ years ago and you can clearly see it when you look at him, his belly has gone too far and his speed in the circle has gone down too I'll be really surprised if he hits the 23m mark and wins the gold medal
  10. oh, no...if I come to SVK after retirement, I get my fee at 100%, no taxes to be paid (it's the last European Nation to allow such favourable regime after Portugal decided to scew European -especially the many Italians- retired people going there to enjoy the last stint of their life with no State robbery and good life tenure) come to Italy...and you'll discover the next level in terms of absurd taxation

  17. do you really believe that? I mean, their no.4 (Norwood) yesterday went 44.1 (and they also have someone named Rai Benjamin available) unless the US guys do something stupid in the changeovers, I don't think they're under threat by any mean
  18. 3 more gold medals included the most unexpected one in the boys' Javelin Throw, maybe the discipline which we have the worst tradition in
  19. well, the whole job wasn't done in a day...most of those predictions were done quite a few days (if not weeks) ago, when the final entries were not established also Gracenote and all the other sites that do this job have this kind of mistakes in particular, OA's Wrestling and Boxing predictions are just beyond imagination, a joke...
  20. wow! what a meet! I guess the track was shorter than 400m or either we're going to watch the most drug addicted Olympics ever (Seoul 1988 where are you? ) or maybe both
  21. I saw the games of the Italian team until the 1/8 finals... then I stopped not to end up by a psychiatrist
  22. good day at the office for only slightly underachieving performance, the bronze medal by Inzoli in the boys' Long Jump (he has a PB way better than the gold medal winning effort ) but he's only 15 (turning 16 next month), he'll have more chances...
