  1. Another medal for the skiing Cocrhans. And another silver for yuesay. I feel Mayer got really lucky both yesterday against Crawford and today against Cochran...
  2. Failed miserably. Only replays today, and only alpine skiing, biathlon and short track. Some luge now. Everything else I just had to settle for results reading. Not feeling 100% myself as well..: I slept through most day Saturday because it was getting a little much. For the same reason I decided last minute not to wake up early for the downhill...
  3. Like this is some next level conspiracy, but I was convinced Jaszapati got this... Until the photo came out.
  4. Absolute disgrace. This will go right up there with the biggest robberies in the Olympic history. The whole tournament, I fear. My problem with short track are indeed all those penalties. Isn't the whole idea of the sport to have a closely physical race between the skaters? Okay, I am not approving murders here, but every slightest contact getting penalized is ridiculous.
  5. I feel for you Canadians, you got more than a fair share of bad luck in alpine skiing, but I have to admit I teared up when Clarey crossed the finish line. In case you are wandering how these low level Chinese skiers qualified for downhill, they did it by cheating the same way Jamaica and Co. did. What about that giant slalom? That must have been the most boring GS track I have ever seen. Too short as well. Weird snow.
  6. Will give it my best to wake up for downhill. If postponed again, I will use the opportunity to watch either figure skating or GS 1st run on demand... And then for the afternoon replays, my main focus will be on GS 2nd run, biathlon, luge, and likely curling semifinals + short track.
  7. All German-speaking podium. Moving on.
  8. Mostly the latter. They weren't really the top medal favorites coming into this.
  9. Australia beats Canada. Again. In luge. Now we have seen it all...
  10. Ludwig looks really strong. I think the gold is his. It's crazy to think that he would have probably retired after Pyeongchang had Loch not crashed. He planned to retire, but after getting an expected bronze (and even more unexpected call-up for the relay), he just decided to continue...
  11. Hula and Kozisek Even I know something is up here today.
  12. He is entered for the mass start (even if chanceless).
  13. Roest went from 29.5 on the penultimate lap to 30.5 in the last one. That was his undoing. Vd Poel just stayed consistent.
  14. Roest lost it on the final lap. It was well over 30 seconds.
  15. Roest got roasted, but should be a medal.
  16. Well, you can scratch the Americans from the TP contention. Must be terrible team chemistry since their star athlete was literally not informed about the 4 negative tests requirement.
  17. ESP commentator is blaming Thorup for Kramer's poor time ("no aero assistance").
  18. So Kramer will get a diploma... maybe.
  19. Thorup got a late reallocation. First male skater from Denmark to race a classic distance since Innsbruck 1964.
  20. The largest winning gap ever on the 30 km was 1:31 (Nagano 1998, interval race).
  21. Would not be surprised. He is a man of many nations.
  22. When was the last time someone dominated like this? Muehlegg in Salt Lake?
  23. Smells like really bad Olympics for Norway.
