  1. Looks like no gold for Yun after all, cool.
  2. Apparently Julian Yee (Figure Skating) has been selected.
  3. What are you, NBC? It's confusing, Bansko had 6 athletes per heat. We'll have to wait and see.
  4. Yeah, we can assume that she read phelps' comment here.
  5. Looks like the Irish athletes have switched to the freestyle park today.
  6. Nevertheless he finished in front of Watabe... Give him a break.
  7. Wow, IOC actually cares that crime lord became an AIBA president. However, nothing's gonna happen anyway, so why bother.
  8. Winter Olympics with actual Winter weather, the likes of which we haven't seen for a very long time.
  9. Really nice video from the Irish skiers.
  10. After a quick glance on Dutch athletes on PC website my guess would be Jan Smeekens, but really not sure. Ah, this is killing me.
  11. First points of the season for Coletti.
  12. @heywoodu Apparently that's Schulting, but who is the other Dutch?
  13. I wonder if it's going to be possible to watch men's luge, women's 3000m and women's biathlon at about the same time... I guess I can already remove short track and normal hill from my watch list, because apparently all that has to be held at the same time. Absolutely disasterous scheduling, million events in the evening and big holes filled with nothing during the afternoon.
  14. As if 70 seconds downhill is any better...
  15. They should have the same reallocation criteria as luge, meaning that ISV would get priority over JPN/ROU as they were still unrepresented in skeleton... And yeah, I'd advise ISV to start making nuclear weapons before 2022.
  16. Well, I watched WC in Bansko and it seemed like the course for PGS is much longer than what I remember from before. Between two runs on different short courses, and one run on a longer course, I'd definitely choose the latter. Having a longer course balances things to a certain extent.
  17. Natko Zrnčić-Dim (Alpine Skiing) has been selected for the role...
  18. And here are a couple of pics from a more recent trip (September 2017) to a mountainous area nearby...
  19. What is the point of a national house if it's closed during one of the nation's best medalling chances?
  20. Not an ideal situation for SBK, but he is off to the Games.
  21. Literally 3 posts above (and you even posted in between).
  22. And those athletes that got in instead of Russians will remain in, just like in Rio... Only now there will be like 22 athletes in women's skeleton and so on (though sadly that means the Nigerian athlete will likely no longer be able to compete in all four runs...). It's a joke, as at the end they hardly get punished at all (like really, 50km podium remains?!). IPC on the other hand made blanket ban without any fuss, guess why? Because there's no Russian politics involved as much. Olympics obviously have to be different when politics with all that victim of the big bad west charade takes place, making people ignore the real situation.
