Well, I watched WC in Bansko and it seemed like the course for PGS is much longer than what I remember from before. Between two runs on different short courses, and one run on a longer course, I'd definitely choose the latter. Having a longer course balances things to a certain extent.

Only now there will be like 22 athletes in women's skeleton and so on (though sadly that means the Nigerian athlete will likely no longer be able to compete in all four runs...). It's a joke, as at the end they hardly get punished at all (like really, 50km podium remains?!). IPC on the other hand made blanket ban without any fuss, guess why? Because there's no Russian politics involved as much. Olympics obviously have to be different when politics with all that victim of the big bad west charade takes place, making people ignore the real situation.
