  1. Olympic qualification standings after Round A... Larocca - 0 Valdez - 4 Florentino - 4 Gallego - 5 Bardwin - 8 Guarino - 12 Montesinos - 12 Vivero - 12 Rodriguez - 12 have two riders remaining, but only one can qualify. are eliminated from the competition. What an epic chance this is for Paraguay!
  2. Btw, it is absoutely crucial that individual quotas for Groups D/E get assigned here as well. Pan American riders are based all over North and South America, as well as Europe, so outside of Pan American Games they never get the chance to compete against each other. For that reason, ranking-based qualification would be really unfair.
  3. Group D is USA/Canada + English Carribean nations. Group E is all of Latin America. All quotas wlll go to Group E, however...
  4. No relegation for @Werloc
  5. If Varaždin was closer, then perhaps I would have attended. It's just too out of place.
  6. Looks like no quota for Venezuela. have done well in the first round so far. I hope Dominican Republic can qualify this time. If I remember correctly, they just missed out on qualification in both 2012 and 2016.
  7. Oh, look, time penalty for Albarracin.
  8. Yes, they start from zero. Top 20 will qualify for Round B (including all ties for 20th place).
  9. Today's individual event was supposed to be open for top 35 riders, but only 32 will start. Colombian rider got axed at the second inspection. Individual riders from BRA, VEN, URU, DOM withdrew. Peruvian rider got promoted as a reserve.
  10. Cool. So they will jump over containers, ships and waterfront mobsters.
  11. That's interesting, cross-country course of eventing is supposedly set in woodlands right by the rowing course.
  12. Entries: China Li Yaofeng (Jericho Dwerse Hagen) Li Zhenqiang (Uncas S or Cantario) Liu Tongyan (Chaccato) Zhang Xingjia (For Passion d'Ive Z) Zhang You (Caesar) Hong Kong Kenneth Cheng (Tyson AZ) Jacqueline Lai (Basta) Patrick Lam (Claron CR) Clarissa Lyra (Horse Gym's Cool Running) Reserve: Raena Leung (Orphee du Granit) New Zealand Richard Gardner (Calisto) Bruce Goodin (Backatorps Danny V) Samantha McIntosh (Check In) Daniel Meech (Fine) Tom Tarver-Priebe (Popeye) Philippines Joker Arroyo (Doucardi or Ubama Alia) Marie Antoniette Leviste (Disaronno VT) Colin Syquia (Godin van het Molenhof) South Korea Jun Jaehee (Ivory de Roulard) Kim Boseon (Carl) Kwon Manjun (Chester van't Goor) Chinese Taipei Jasmine Chen (Ninyon) Po-Hsiang Huang (Edesa's Cannary) Tina Lu (Le Point Koe) Isheau Wong (Jussica T) Philippines team is once again being lead by Joker and Marie Antoinette.
  13. It would be fun if say American Samoa decided to pick up all those free spots.
  14. How much a fresh pair costs?
  15. July 2020 - Evenepoel wins two gold medals. July 2021 - Evenepoel wins Tour de France with record winning margin, May 2022 - Evenepoel wins Giro d'Italia July 2022 - Evenepoel wins Tour de France September 2022 - Evenepoel wins Vuelta Espana November 2022 - Evenepoel announces retirement
  16. Commentators discussing about marginal gains. Ugh.
  17. Wake me up when Danes win senior medals.
  18. Ok.... Cricket is certainly not the national sport of UAE.
  19. I don't like the criteria: sport invented in X -> national sport of x. Football is the main sport here, but I don't like to call it "national sport", because that sounds rather pretentious.
  20. Final team results: 12.39 22.97 23.09 30.21 62.19 qualify teams for Tokyo 2020. Four more individual places will be allocated in two days. Last time around both Peru and Uruguay qualified, which was really exciting, but this time smaller nations look rather disappointing. Probably only the remaining powerhouses will qualify ( ), with only a slight chance for to make a surprise.
  21. Mexico did it!
  22. Again this guy Albarracin picking up time penalties. I wonder if he ever went inside the time.
  23. To be fair, Canadian dressage team is on a rise at the moment, compared to eventers and jumpers who are on definite decline. They can hope to qualify for team final next year (top 8).
  24. Quotas confirmed for .
  25. Mexico will now struggle to keep the bronze. Same nations on all podiums. So annoying.
