  1. If only we could have men's high jump final every day ... then we always would have a great atmosphere. In the end it really is IAAF's fault that the atmosphere was so bad. If they wouldnt have made it so difficult for countries like Qatar to naturalize athletes, then they would have been competitive in many more disciplines and the atmosphere would have been better. Maybe IAAF should force some kenyan/ethiopian runners to represent Qatar?
  2. Nice season's best and olympic standard for Roleder. She always peaks at the right time and with a bit of luck she could make the final here.
  3. How does Klishina not starting have any impact on Mihambo's gold medal chances?
  4. Good to know, of course that doesnt change the fact that race walking shouldnt be an olympic sport. I guess getting rid of race walking wont be possible thanks to the influence of China.
  5. Extremely unlucky results for Germany once again. With just 0.8 points more the team would have made the final and i am sure that would have been better for the competition as a whole. With Scheder and Alt they easily would have qualified for the final. I expected Italy, GB and Canada to be much stronger. Hopefully at least Seitz can win a medal on uneven bars, it would be sad for Germany to end their home world championships without a medal.
  6. Great silver medal for the russian guy, he keeps the great russian race walking tradition alive. It is really inspiring to see that russia just doesnt give a fuck. They know that everyone thinks that they are doping, but they just dont care.
  7. I feel really bad for the chinese guys, i think for them it would be the most important to win a medal.
  8. Linke is really cursed, he is the male version of Silke Spiegelburg.
  9. Very glad to see the russian guy back in bronze position, now everything is in order again.
  10. I agree, anti-italian mafia. Someone didnt want him to win a medal. The turkish guy for example would have deserved a penalty much more.
  11. Could be another near miss for Linke, i guess he will never win a medal ...
  12. What does it say about the top 3 athletes when neither a russian nor a chinese manage to medal in a race walking event?
  13. According to a doctor who is part of the german team the swedish guy currently has the lowest body temperature of all the top guys, while the japanese guy has a pretty high temperature already. If this has any meaning, then the swedish guy should be the favorite for silver.
  14. He lost a chip.
  15. I always wondered why some of those athletes dont use penalties like for example Coleman used missed tests? Couldnt they just start running to close a gap? Even if they would get a penalty, nothing would really happen unless they get 3 penalties?
  16. It is great to see how calm the italian guy was despite being betrayed. Obviously some people higher up saw him as a threat!
  17. Thanks, never heard of that country before. I am very open-minded and always try to learn more about other countries. I hope that one day when i reach your age i will have at least a tiny fraction of your wisdom.
  18. If you really think that everyone from those countries looks the same, then you have obviously never been there. The average german person weighs about twice as much as the average person from Belarus, thanks to people in Belarus being much more disciplined when it comes to how much they eat. Also another difference between those 3 countries is that there are 3 different languages in those countries, while there is only one language in the african countries mentioned before.
  19. I have to say that you are wrong. I live in one of those 3 countries and no money in the world could get me to live in one of the other 2 countries. This would be like asking an american person to live in Canada or El Salvador.
  20. Arent you from an african country? Then you should know that Zambia isnt even a country ... ? I get the point you are trying to make, but by making up countries you arent helping your cause.
  21. Very nice progression by the top 2 guys, but not suspicious. Bahamas has produced SMU before, so obviously they know how to train world class 400 m runners and Colombia is at a very high altitude, so it is only natural for them to have fast runners.
  22. Ok, i am sorry to hear that.
  23. I dont know what you mean, but if you follow international politics, then you know that China is trying to colonize Africa in order to become better in sports like athletics.
  24. I guess we have another Slovakia/Slovenia situation here, luckily those countries dont appear in international competitions very often.
  25. Is there really a difference? Borders in africa change every couple of months, at this point noone knows where one country ends and the other country starts.
