  1. After soaring virus cases in the past couple of weeks it was announced this evening we are going back into lockdown until December 1st. The main differences between this lockdown and the one in March / April is that schools and childcare services remain open and construction will be permitted to continue.
  2. Don’t worry, take whatever time you need. Like @Vektor suggested, we can all do our own bit in the meantime and listen to the songs and prepare our rankings to send to you at the right time.
  3. IRELAND After much deliberation I am happy to announce the Irish entrant for this year's TISC Open 2020. Falling Slowly was featured in the Irish film Once (2007) and is written and composed by Glen Hansard and co-performed with Czech singer Markéta Irglová. I hope you enjoy Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová - Falling Slowly Lyrics: I don't know you But I want you All the more for that Words fall through me And always fool me And I can't react And games that never amount To more than they're meant Will play themselves out Take this sinking boat and point it home We've still got time Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice You'll make it now Falling slowly, eyes that know me And I can't go back And moods that take me and erase me And I'm painted black Well, you have suffered enough And warred with yourself It's time that you won Take this sinking boat and point it home We've still got time Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice You've made it now Falling slowly, sing your melody I'll sing along Take it all I played the cards too late Now you're gone
  4. I’m surprised New Zealand isn’t on molten lava in this map
  5. @Pablita @Gianlu33 @Henry_Leon @SteveParker Just a reminder to the Italian national jury of the relative new Rule 3 (d) (iii) which allows them to choose an alternative format for their votes:
  6. That’s a good point. We should probably link to the announcement post since users are writing information about their choice and lyrics there.
  7. That was my bad. The table is only up to date as far as @rybak‘s post yesterday with the list of participants. I will add Ruslan and the other selected songs tomorrow. But have a look through the list to see if there are any other omissions, it’s been a long week
  8. Thanks for your help I am just accessing the forum on my phone tonight so can’t copy it in right now. Should be able to spend a little time this weekend to get things up to speed.
  9. Possibly since TISC Open 2015. There were 3 Polish registered for TISC Annual 2016 but in the end it was only you who voted It's been a long time anyway.
  10. I expect Italy will be here and looking to keep their title of "Jury with most members" which they held since TISC Open 2014
  11. We will have a discussion after this contest to see about possibly extending the release date criteria for the next Annual as a once off due to Covid-19. Perhaps we could allow some songs from the last 6 months of the previous year to be considered to allow some flexibility. But we’ll discuss it after this contest and put it to a vote.
  12. Well it was held in Ireland, I’ll give you that
  13. Lithuania actually won TISC Open 2015, lest you forget
  14. Just to complete your stats: 2013 Open - September 23rd 2014 Open -September 1st
  15. Séamus is packing his bags, it can only mean one thing. Count me in
  16. Rolling back the good times! First Irish winner of the green jersey since Seán Kelly in 1989. Great job Sam Bennett
  17. Perhaps as we speak, a new polder is being reclaimed from the sea to play host to the contest.
  18. Indeed she was, I remember my friend loved this film She also played King Lear’s daughter Regan in a famous video adaptation of the Shakespeare play. King Lear was played by Laurence Olivier. I watched this to help me prepare for a college exam
  19. If only Trump had a prompt, he may not say the ignorant and idiotic things he comes out with every 5 minutes
  20. Did you also get the error message that you should not enter because someone is impersonating Totallympics and trying to steal your information?
  21. Long overdue. I was a childhood fan of the BDO in the 1990s and the very early 2000s but everything about that federation belongs in the Stone Age.
  22. So you could jump a WR and still get beaten by someone who jumps something mediocre. Great innovation.
  23. All I know is that @rybak was at judging hut C during this match. I cannot confirm if this leaked pic is that of Judge C.
