  1. Woahhhhhhhh, what a PB that will be for Kočergina!!!! and in an Olympic race, in her worst discipline ever.
  2. I hope Kaukenas pulls an Oeberg today
  3. Kočergina is attempting a miracle run
  4. Kaisa and Darya really don't want me to win that Biathlon Prediction Contest
  5. Makarainen, why
  6. I am guaranteed, 20 for Kryuko, okay..... 19, welp, it's over - Caster curse 2018
  7. Nah, Diana Rasimovičiūtė has been in two-three mass starts before and I think that Tomas has been in 1 or 2 himself as well (once in World Championships)
  8. Oh yeah, I completely forgot that I saw him shooting a whole minute on livetiming, my memory sometimes abandons me
  9. Fourcade approached this race very carefully, with 43rd time in shooting. And whose to say that it is a bad strategy with this unpredictable wind, as silver medalist Samuelsson had the 53rd shooting time. On the other hand, Doll was 11th. Few more things to note, uncharacteristically slow shooting from Erik Lesser down in 53rd and Nordgren outshot even Simon Eder himself by 5 seconds.
  10. Probably because @dareza didn't cheer for him this time
  11. Yeah, I was a fan of Birnbacher. I'd also like to see Hammerschmidt with a chance here, but I think her chance is mostly gone, because I see her as a stronger competitor in the sprint/pursuit, rather than an individual race. Of course, neither Herrmann, Hinz or Hildebrand really did give a reason to be replaced as all three performed fairly well in the prior races.
  12. Plus don't forget to add that bronze medal in the individual on Thursday (a man can hope)
  13. OMG. 13th place it is something AMAZING for Lithuanian Biathlon, we haven't had that for more than 6-7 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's not enough emojis that could explain my happiness. Tomas Kaukėnas also won the Olympic funding today, so he'll definitely be celebrating. Anyways, amazing day for Swedish biathlon, brilliant race by Samuelsson. Also, happy to see the German men's team shining. Add a medal for Schempp and I'll be very happy
  14. Also, 0+0+1+1 is something that I can be happy with Mass start dreams are still alive
  15. Legendary for Sweden
  16. Johannes is a disaster...
  17. Forgot we had Vytautas in the race too
  18. Honestly, I'd love some success for Hildebrand.
  19. Goodness me, didn't expect to be having heart attacks during these Olympics
  20. We survived shooting 1
  21. Anais Bescond once again proves that she can prepare well and be a contender for a medal at the major championships. On the other hand, I am really worried for Kaisa Makarainen and Dorothea Wierer. Doro's best chance is the Individual or a relay competition, with Kaisa, she has had relative success in individuals and mass starts, but it's not looking too good for her. Another thing that I would like to see is a German woman, other than Dahlmeier, winning a medal, because it feels like that just doesn't happen anymore
  22. Well, yeah, shooting clean would have been pretty awesome, seeing as Biathlon lost more than 50% of financing for 2018 and unluckily for Tomas, TOP 16 at the Olympic Games is the place that you have to achieve in order to be individually sponsored by the government, so he pretty much missed out on an easy future for the next couple of years by 0.9 seconds Anyways, I wouldn't say that this season was extremely terrible for us, we've qualified for some pursuits and we had points from Strolia and Kočergina, nothing that special, but they were those few moments of joy after the long drought of good results when Rasimovičiūtė stopped performing. This 17th place was fairly unexpected, even by the athlete himself that said that he got sick four days ago and felt pretty bad in yesterday's training. Tomorrow I'll have to skip a lecture at University in order to watch it live, so I hope it'll be worth it. Me and my friend are tracking down the mass start run and for now Tomas is 8th out of 15, so we could use some good points tomorrow.
  23. When IBU gives you a present
  24. I know, it's cool, I'm still in 1st place of the Nordic Skiing contest, but ski jumping and nordic combined will catch up to me eventually, because I completely yolo'd them without even looking at any rankings
