    C'est bien, l'attente pour une médaille au tir commençait à devenir longue (la voile et le tir, les deux spécialités françaises pour performer tout au long de l'année et décevoir aux JO)

    Tellement bizarre ces résultats du judo français ! 9 médailles c'est incroyable. Mais aucune finale pour les françaises, je n'y aurais jamais pensé avant les JO.. Et 4 médailles pour les garçons, sans Khyar, alors là... Mais globalement ce tournoi individuel fut plein de surprises. Même les japonais(es) ont sousperformé ! Moi aussi j'espère fort l'or pour la finale par équipe.

    Well, from now on, 's medal rate will unfortunately drop significantly. Our real opportunities of gold medals are now inferior than 10 I think (Léon Marchand no longer has an individual race ). We lost too many gold medals in Judo and Fencing (only two last hopes for tomorrow). But we will be happy to beat our record for medals in the Olympic modern era, and I hope that our athletes will exceed 50 medals at least. In any case, this first week was incredible and full of emotions.

    Nobody knows anything since the begininng of Sailing in these Olympics.

    Je pense toujours que les 50 médailles seront atteintes (un peu au-dessus), mais mine de rien la journée de demain sera décisive car si on a pas les 5 médailles d'or attendues (Riner, Dicko, épéistes, BMX, Marchand), ça va être très tendu pour atteindre ~20 médailles d'or.

    Ce sont les petites déceptions ici ou là qui vont empêcher la France d'atteindre le palier des 60 médailles. Mais battre le record de médailles d'or d'Atlanta reste quand même un bel objectif

    Bringing Thibus to these Olympics seems more and more like an awful decision. She's doping, she doesn't have her usual leval, and she's bringing the team down with her. Edit : just when I write that, she scores 3 in row.

    Yeah, it's so unexpected, like you said we have 0 Gold medal in judo, which is supposed to be our best sport (with fencing). But we could clearly thanks Leon Marchand for this.

    Honestly this swimming evening is so cool, so many fan favorites (well, at least mine ) who are winninng medals.

    Gahié going for the fifth Bronze medal for our girls in these Olympics... Hopefully Malonga or Dicko are able to bring us a gold medal in the next two days.

    Only one boat in finals, and it is the one that nobody saw coming (at least by our "sport journalists"). Rowing is clearly a big disappointment in these Olympics for us!

    It's the same scenario every day for our judokas.

    I think we are a bit ahead, despite some big disappointments (gymnastics, skateboarding, W rugby sevens..). But two things : - Getting Gold medals is and will always be a challenge for us. We still don't have many big favorites for the gain of titles (less than 10 I would say). - The first week is very good for us (thanks to fencing and judo), and the second will be more difficult. I think Japan will be third at the end (they seem to overperform?) . Then it will be the announced fight between , , , and .
