  1. The olympic website says that this tournament will qualify directly to Womens World Cup. But, again, our press is saying the opposite haha. Looks we are going to have a qualifier for the first time to decide the spots.
  2. Hey Guys! Does anyone know if FIFA has already released the qualification document for Los Angeles? Usually Women's Copa América is the first qualifying tournament, but I haven't seen anything. Our press is saying that TOP 2 will get a spot in the competition
  3. Do you have any idea, when we will start seeing the official documents? I am quite curious to see the changes in the qualifications
  4. I hated the decrease in Men's Football! they should just increase women's competition
  5. Three points, and next match against Peru at home. Now, I believe we will qualify.
  6. Btw, Is there a chance to take these players to play in our national team of Football? I am sure we would have a better presentation in these next qualifier matches
  7. Mens Football World Champions Mens Beach Soccer World Champions Mens Futsal World Champions South American Football World
  8. Mannnnn From season 3, I wanna watch it! Here in Brazil, this serie isn't so much recognize. Looks MAX would stream it in their platform, but when I acessed it, there's no info about that.
  9. Hey guys, very busy week! Only now I have time to share a little of my experience there, and some photos as promised. I have much more videos and photos than that, but there it is a few! As I said, the NFL's atmosphere is indescribable, if you have a chance, just go to attend it! I have been also in an event in one of our main parks here in São Paulo,, where they were promoving the NFL Experience! I think I have added one or two photos from there. It was nice to have more contact with the sport. I think I will add all the photos there later! https://nfl-game.imgbb.com/
  10. That's completely ridiculous, and another reason to get rid of it from Olympics. But, to be fair, the WDSF Breaking rankings were quite precise during Olympic Qualification. They weren't clear about how the quota would be given, but imo, they find a good way to distribute the points.
  11. For sure! Haha That was fantastic, the NFL experience is unique. I'll see if I can share some photos here later
  12. I will be there friday! Very excited for that
  13. 1. Rate the performance on a scale of 1-10 6,5 or 7 It was not terrible, but not good at all 2. What were the suprises and heartbreaks ? Usually, we have some unexpected medals, which didn't happen this time. I could mention Women's Footbal as a surprise, once our performance in the last events was awful. I was expecting that these girls could fight for a bronze medal, but the silver was a real reward for them. Heartbreaks, I'd say our Rhythmic Gymnastic Team. There was a lot of highligths over them, and one of our girls got injured between the first and second presentation on qualifiers. Also, I was expecting a medal for Ana Sátila in Slalom Canoeing, she got very close in all three events. And our Boxing team, we were dreaming about 3 or 4 medals, with even a gold, and we finished with only one bronze medal. 3.Was your country's goal achieved? No. In terms of gold medal, we were expecting less medals than the last Olympics, but it was even lesser. In the total of medals, it got close, but the goal was to overpass the record of 21 medals. 4. Which are the sports that will be invested more in future? Current / Upcoming sports At this point is difficult to say. I think women's football will get more attention because of the medal and the WC that we are gonna host. Imo, I think Brazil should improve its strength in those sports where we already have some tradition, and try to accelerate the grow in those discipline where we just have few representants. For instance, Judo, Surfing, Skateboarding, Gymnastics, Canoeing, Sailing, Volleyball and some others, we already have potential, but we should arrive at the Olympics even stronger. And in sports like Wrestling, Weightlifting, Cycling, Shooting, Rowing we should amplify our participation 5. Who could be some the potential star for your country in LA? I think Rebeca Andrade will keep being our superstar, once she got a better result than Rayssa Leal
  14. So, I joined here in 2019, it was nice to find a place where I could find other people who enjoy Olympics and sports as much as I do. Then, the answer is Yes. After Olympics, I am used to have a hangover session of sports. I can't even watch my football team haha. So, I think I won’t be so active next month. Also, I have plans to be in LA during the next Olympics, I loved the atmosphere in Rio, and I would like to have it again. I have the same feeling.... about both points haha. Btw, seeing the opportunity, I am studying Italian and French, and I look for some people who speak these languages. So, if any user wants to just chat, send me a message. I would love to be able to read a little more in these languages, and maybe try to write a bit .
  15. I think they will get one in sailing, hopefully... Then I will bet correctly in the contest haha. I am happy wiht that, but still upset for these conditions
  16. I know it. But that is the problem, they had many other options. They could have ended it two days ago, when the waves were massive. They could have delayed it a little bit, because looks the waves will improve later, or maybe just fucked up with this window, and just selected a better day for competitions. It should be a great show of surfing, because it usually is in Teahupoo, but they are simply wasting another opportunity to show Surfing, in the Olympics, with these pathetic men's semifinals.
  17. ISA and IOC chose Teahupoo to host Surfing, because the great waves. Then, they decided to call the conpetition on, in these conditions. Simply pathetic.
  20. I was expecting a better performance from D'Almeida. But we are qualified in mixed, and he still can make it in individual event
