  1. 2022: 42- Chamizo= 41 https://www.oasport.it/2022/12/medagliere-olimpiadi-parigi-2022-tutti-i-podi-dei-mondiali-italia-gia-a-13-ori-e-terza-dietro-usa-e-cina/ 2023: 41 https://www.oasport.it/2023/12/medagliere-olimpiadi-parigi-2024-tutti-i-podi-dei-mondiali-2023-italia-ottava-con-1-oro-e-6-medaglie/
In quest'anno sarà simile storia.
  3. Whose fault is it that our 2022 Junior World Championship medalist is unwatchable while the Iranian is fighting brilliantly?
  4. Italy's results at this World Championships is very poor: one silver medal in the non-Olympic category for Alessio, Vito was left with nothing, and the rest of the team is making no progress. The young Iranian won gold yesterday and beat Vito, while we keep telling ourselves our team has time, etc. The result is that for the third consecutive cycle, we've been relying on two increasingly older champions, and we've traded our greatest young talent to Africa (just like we traded Colturi to Albania)... We're a country of losers. We are unlucky with these Iranians, because with a different draw there would probably have been two more medals for us, but the fact is that we don`t train young people enough and we give away the best talents to other countries.
  5. Another disappointment against an Iranian athlete... The difference is that the 2022 Iranian Junior World Champion won gold in an Olympic event yesterday, while our 2022 champion lost today in a non-Olympic category to an average Iranian. There's still no progress and young athletes from another countries are already winning medals here. We still hope on two athletes over 25 years old, so the 3rd Olympic cycle we based on the same 2 people.
  7. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pim_Fortuyn From communism to the far right? Lol. Was there already a problem with immigration in the Netherlands at the beginning of the 21st century?
  8. I thought this only happened in the USA. Italy, unfortunately, introduced man, like Berlusconi into politics in the mid-1990s, and now, unfortunately, there are many of them in other countries – for example, Trump
  11. Wilders, is this a party similar to the AFD in Germany? Were such parties strong in your country 15-20 years ago? In Germany, the AFD has only been growing in the last 10 years.
  12. Oggi abbiamo 39 medaglie. Cos'altro possiamo vincere oltre al tennis a dicembre? Costal Rowing? Tiro a segno?
  13. The Netherlands is supposedly very politically divided? Is that true?
  14. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_World_Taekwondo_Championships_–_Men's_flyweight This Iranian won gold, so maybe it was a premature final. Shame. I'm more concerned that, apart from Vito and Alessio, no youngsters are winning medals for us.

  16. In Brunei, it's an absolute ruler, but not in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. The longest-ruling non-absolute rulers are in Guinea and Cameroon: both since 1982. Lukashenko isn't an absolute ruler either :P
  17. It's possible he won't live to the end of his term – it lasts up to 7 years. It's also possible that his political circle, not he, makes key decisions. In Europe the longest rules it`s Lukashenko (Belarus)– since 1994, followed by Putin since 2000 and Erdogan since 2002.

  19. They will open another one, but I don't remember where. Generally, the sprint section never runs on the road, so riders like Predomo and Vece (whose performance was probably the best of his career in Kerinin today) have to train on an indoor track. However, without huge investment in technology, you have no chance of competing with the fight of the Netherlands or the UK as a team. Individually, there may be a chance, for example, in the Keirin, but that's all.
  20. I also asked this question on "Casa Italia": will medals in the 87/+87 kg be counted as Olympic medals this cycle on this website or not? And if so, will they be counted as both categories or just one?
  21. Lavreysen is more muscular than his rivals, in my opinion. Secondly, I'm curious if Lavreysen, with his physique, could win a flat road race?
  22. Viviani's greatest cycling moment was winning gold in the Omnium in Rio 2016. In that year he defeat Cavendish for the gold medal.
  23. He ended his career like Tomba in 1998.
  24. It's a shame there aren't separate medals for the Elimination race at the Olympics. It's much more transparent than Madison, where it's chaotic.
  25. The problem may also that the fact that the Netherlands and the UK have a significant technological advantage in sprint. Perhaps that's why Predomo is stagnating. This could also be the reason why Jakovlev isn't winning... Secondly, why Milan might wan`t to try start at the Madison and Omnium at the Olympics? He's very fast, unlike Ganna, and Wiebes and Kopecky have shown that it's possible to combine track and road. Two more medals in 2028, plus team, are probably exciting for everyone.
