  1. Good morning, all. @Dnl thanks for hosting this contest despite your circumstances. And thanks to all for points for .
  2. Voted. This is one of the hardest editions I've ever voted, mainly because the quality is low, but I had to reject a record 13 songs (as opposed to maybe 4 or 5 I usually reject during my voting rounds) and my top 6 is pretty solid, including my 12
  3. I'm finally starting my voting process today. 9 songs daily and, well, we'll see where we'll go from there
  4. UNITED STATES Now this selection isn't much different from other selections (aka Matt and I had songs in consideration), but this is the first time I had an artist in mind throughout our rather short selection window. Nonetheless, she made her appearance at the 2018 Open contest in Orlando, and I thought it was time for her to take center stage. So without further ado, from Milton, Pennsylvania, here is our 2021 open entrant Vanessa Carlton with "Ordinary Day"
  5. We'll have a song by Sunday. Hopefully @Olympian1010 is still available
  6. What. The. Fuck. Just. Happened. I was wondering why I had to read 50 pages and it was because of Slovenia having to give out points one by one Anyways, sorry I haven't really been on all day, but I was following. Congrats @intoronto on another win and I am shocked that since I last left the US entry jumped a bunch of places, so thank you to Lithuania, Netherlands, and Hungary for the coveted 12. Also, thanks to Spain, Great Britain, Canada, Denmark, Mexico, Finland, Norway, Croatia, Bulgaria, China, Indonesia, and Brazil for the points Thank you for hosting the contest @rybak it must be a lot of hard work. Trust me, I know. Team Bison, we did it, Joe lmfao And here are my personal votes 12 - Indonesia 11 - Serbia 10 - Brazil 9 - Canada 8 - Kazakhstan 7 - Denmark 6 - Slovakia 5 - Poland 4 - Norway 3 - Romania 2 - Ireland 1 - Greece R1 - Italy R2 - Croatia R3 - Tunisia
  7. Thank you for the 12 points. I'm glad you and @Olympian1010 enjoyed the song, because to me it's meh so I'm totally not surprised by its performance
  8. I have my top 12, now I'm in the process of finding my 3 reserves, but you will have my votes by the end of the weekend @rybak
  9. I'll start my listening session tomorrow because today I'm celebrating my 32nd birthday with friends and family
  10. LOL you guys. Don't worry, I wouldn't miss a contest for the world. I already told @Olympian1010 via Twitter that I'm in, but I'm making it official here
  11. Oh, wow, I completely missed this news as I came back wondering when the contest will start, but anyway, congrats @rybak and @Vojthas on your hosting duties
  12. First off, I was surprised that the live show was available here in the US without a VPN (but I watched the show with one because I don't trust the EBU ) Also, I love the French entry. It was my winner this year, so I'm happy Valentina got to win it for real.
  13. And the Netherlands will stay at number 23 in the final (no surprise there)
  14. Yep, not surprised. At. All (and yes, he's one of my senators)
  15. US Jury Voting Stats (after 15 contests) (posting screenshots because this girl forgot about the 75 emojis per post rule) Thanks to @dcro for filling in the missing votes. These are the total number of points each country got from the US jury over the years: Combined (my personal votes from 2013 open to 2018 annual + the magic powers of being a multijury starting from 2018 open) Me (from 2013 open to present) @Olympian1010 (from 2018 open to present)
