  1. We don't have any chance.
  2. 10-13 -3 to 5 in team sports (hockey x2, boys rugby, boys futsal, girl beach handball) -1 or 2 in swimming (girls 400/800 free) -1 in athletics (boy pole vault) -1 in judo (boys -81kg) -1 in sailing (in nacra or windsurf) -3 between: rowing, triathlon, pentathlon, equestrian, boxing, tennis (boy singles) and shooting (rifle).
  3. I don't get the people that say France has more chance than Brazil. Did you guys see how each team has been playing over the last two years??? Brazil is a rampant winning machine with unstoppable Neymar and France has great matches one day then the next struggles against much weaker teams.
  4. No, it's not the same for everyone, altitude has less effect on chileans, colombians, peruvians and ecuatorians since many of their main cities have altitude as well.
  5. They are in no way prepared to host a panamerican games. Would be a big step back in terms of standards for odepa to give it to them.
  6. And finally, all the relevant players in wta have a Slam. Nice.
  7. That's insane It is also 470,000 usd more than what our government gave for a gold medal in rio 2016.
  8. Lanzini out of World cup, Diego Simonet out of panamerican championship, we finish 4th at south american games, del Potro trounced by Nadal, volleyball team keeps losing... What a day
  9. I don't get why our ukranian didn't compete in the mixed (one of many things i didn't understand in our delegation..) I think that taking here the absolute best athletes in every sport (and assuming the other countries remain the same) we would have won 14-18 more gold medals (5 or 6 in swimming, 2 or 3 more in kayak, 4 in Basketball, 1 in mens rugby, 1 or 2 more in shooting and 1 or 2 more between equestrian/athletics/judo). In 2014 we had the best athletes for everything that wasnt the team sports.
  10. Poor Bolivia they would be 8th if we didn't steal half of their racquetball team
  11. I didn't get why you understimate Venezuela. Their sport doesn't really depend on their economy that much, it's always heavy state support and their government isn't really cutting spending like in Brazil or Argentina.
  12. Now I remember why I don't like Nadal...
  13. 2014 panamerican championship.
  14. She must have been a disaster, otherwise it's hard to believe.
  15. Lmao for a brief moment the official site showed that our high jumper had cleared 2.30 and I thought since when do we have a Barshim but nah, it was a mistake, just 2.25
  16. We are still waiting for the golds in pelota. Venezuela please stop winning

  19. I was actually thinking of Subirats in the butterfly, but after posting I remembered he retired. So yeah.
  20. After streak of 37 sets won straight at RG, Rafa loses one!
  21. Yes, but that doesn't mean Brazil is better in every swimming event... I think that with everyone's A team and compared to the results of this games, Brazil would gain golds in men's breaststroke + medley and female free short distances but would lose the golds in female breastroke and men's butterfly (possibly the female 200fly too). And the female medley would become 50/50. So, all in all the results wouldn't change much.
  22. Only judo would be a radical increase. Volley is just 4 medals anyway and I think the swimming golds wouldn't increase if Argentina also takes the best team. Actually I think you would have 1 or 2 less.
