  1. Ok, but that's just one sport. If anything, the other nations are reducing the gap in most sports. I only see Judo as one where Brazil could still sweep most golds assuming everyone came here with the best.

  3. Probably people that use the phone and aren't very skilled at copy-pasting with it? I don't know. Maybe it's plain lazyness.
  4. Well, at least we have the excuse that we are missing half of our starters.
  5. Athletics, weightlifting, rowing, handball, swimming.... Judo, hockey, tennis are only saved by the good results, because if not... I don't know if there is a single federation that is well managed in Argentina... maybe volleyball? No clue
  6. It's unfortunate but gymnastics was one of those federations that seems stuck in time, with the same "dictator president" for 30 years, never improving anything, etc. It's changing now but they will need for the new people to be honest if they want to get out of the hole.
  7. Normally, only medals won at games. Only exceptions are given for athletes that didn't participate at pan american games but had good performance at a world championship or something equivalent.
  8. Because Grozer doesn't play. And Germany is nothing without him.
  9. I think south american medals won't matter anymore for that. I read that now only panamerican medalists or olympic level will receive money.
  10. 11. Our women's team plays worse every year. Time for a coach change.
  12. Japan Final Squad Goalkeepers: Eiji Kawashima (Metz/FRA), Masaaki Higashiguchi (Gamba Osaka/JPN), Kosuke Nakamura (Kashiwa Reysol/JPN) Defenders: Yuto Nagatomo (Galatasaray/TUR), Tomoaki Makino (Urawa Red Diamonds/JPN), Maya Yoshida (Southampton/ENG), Hiroki Sakai (O. FC Koln/GER), Yoshinori Muto (Mainz 05/GER), Shinji Okasaki (Leicerster City/ENG)
  13. IMO Brazil has a MUCH higher chance to win than France. They play a lot better than them as a team.
  14. Dominici really wasted a chance in vault, she made a bad landing in the first attempt with higher difficulty. Still got the bronze.
  15. Yeah... the results are pathetic. We didn't even need to bring the full team here, just Pignatiello so she could win 3-4 golds by herself
  16. The main core squad (I think 16-18 players?) is in Europe preparing for the last stages of sevens series. I don't know exactly if these players in Cochabamba are the best ones after those, because we also usually have some sevens players involved in rugby union tournaments with our "Argentina XV" team (the reserves of our rugby union national team).
  17. That was a weak finish in rugby but not entirely unexpected. I also think we can lose the golds in hockey.
  18. Thanks Brazil for gifting the gold to Chile.
  19. I will try to find it, it was an interview after the team medal ceremony. Anyway, there is the slight possibility that I misheard and they were referring to brazilian people in the grades (they said "brasileras", maybe the supporters in question were all female). Regardless, they weren't really angry or anything.
  20. Our gymnastics team said on tv that the brazilian girls were mocking and distracting them during the balance beam rotation.
  21. Because we have the Pan American games next year for that...
  22. Reposting of streams: http://www.boliviatv.bo/principal/tvenvivo72.php Bolivian tv feed https://www.tycsportsplay.com/ argentinian channel, you can select a few different sports to watch. http://www.televisionparatodos.tv/tycsports/ stream of the main feed of the channel mentioned above, with commentary and occasional interviews focused on argentinian performance (they broadcast around 10 hours a day, but not continuous, so watch out for that).
  23. I think my only big gamble is Kusnetzova beating Muguruza
  24. I told you. Chile is with the best athletes in almost all sports and they are better adapted to altitude. We will only win the men single and double sculls because there is too much difference for Argentina to lose.
