  1. I find it so funny we ( ) are at league one, like the group is three European and world powerhouses and a nation who was in the world cup once and never in the euros
  2. For 1. Rate the performance on a scale of 1-10: 8/10, on one side, it was our most successful Olympics with seven medals, but out of the none medalist very few do well, and all of these I thought wi get gold get silver 2. What were the suprises and heartbreaks? The main surprise was Tom Reuveny who won the gold in iqfoil, he was expected to be at about 6-8 place like he did in moat big competitions and he took home the gold even beating the Dutch favorite The biggest heartbreak was how our sport Channel went to athletes after thier loss without letting them get a few moments to rest and getting some hard to watch interviews (with avishag Samberg or Luna champaign salpeter) 3. Was your country's goal achieved? Yes and no, the medals goal was achieved by far with 7 to 5 who were expected, but only 14 finals for the 18 who were expected (in events without a final, top 12 is final for this count ) 4.Which are the sports that will be invested more in future? Current / Upcoming sports More judo, sailing and gymnastics, also archery is doing great things for now, but money will be wierd now as a result of the situation 5. Who could be some the potential star for your country in LA? We have a great new generation of rhythmic gymnasts along side some good male artistic gymnasts, the women judo team will stay about the same and will be stars and the windsurfing will continue to be amazing, overall I expect la to be the best Olympic we will ever have with a team of 120 athletes and around the same amount of medals as this time
  4. From calculations we had in a WhatsApp group with a few of the heads of the Israeli archery federation, we will have 2 archers, a male and a female even if they all not qualify today they will get it from the ranking
  5. I find the maccabiha as a funny joke, usually it's amateurs and one or 2 high level athletes and a few more national level Israeli athletes (funny thing, some non Jewish athletes do compete, mostly one who are accidentally in Israel, some football players who play for Israeli teams but are from other countries, and some no Jewish Israeli athletes)
  6. what about the maccabiah games ? do non jewish people even know its a thing ?
  7. the sport shooting federation announced sergey richter (10M rifle men) get a quata, i am not 100 know what quata did he get
  8. also, the israeli swimming federation confirmed 3 relay only swimmers: daria golobati and ayala spiz in 200x4 women free bar soloveychik in 200x4 men free
  9. sadly i dont think any of them is argentinian, hopefully all will be home soon and i want to say there are some truely antisemetic shit going on here and i dont have the energy to report all of it
  10. the israeli military just got 4 hostages out in an operation in gaza best news i have had all month
  11. the trials are now, after the first day and the start of preliminary of the second we have 2 new qualifairs aviv barzelay in 200 backstrock women with 2:09.63 adam maraana in the 100 backstrock with 53.60 also he will be the third ever israeli arab (from my understanding he is half arab from his father side but its still progress) in the olympics and first in swimming and since 76 link to results אתר איגוד השחייה | תחרויות | תחרות קריטריון אולימפי טריילז "ארנה" קיץ (isr.org.il)
  12. or for another country to randomly reject the quata right ? or am i missing something anyway the chances are low and it will most likely be the third time israel will not send someone in shooting and first time in 40 years (since 84) we will not have someone in the sport, the only two sports we had more olympics in are athletics and swimming
  13. True, what happened is shapira get pregnant and just get back a few months ago and the federation didint take the option for this happening so they didint account for it in the selection
  14. I am not the one who did the math, from my understanding, quatas who are reallocated after the final tournament are through ranking, and from my understanding there will be between one and three of these probably
