  1. Potentially, but then again he struggled a lot at the Ostrava Golden Spike on Tuesday. Weather conditions weren’t the most favourable however, lots of wind. His form has also been really inconsistent lately, with best marks of 5.65m, 5.80m, and 5.52m in his last three competitions.
  2. 49.30 for Marileidy Paulino in the women’s 400m
  3. Can’t answer that question, but huh? Sedjati is amongst the medal contenders sure, but he isn’t the favourite for the men’s 800m Olympic title. Arop, Kemei, Wanyonyi, Kinyamal, and maybe even Hoppel are all favoured over him IMO.

  17. @Ogreman who are your picks in the Canadian brackets in women’s 54kg and women’s 66kg now that Drabik and Chernokolenko are out?

  19. Can’t keep getting away with this @NearPup
  20. They were quite close to going 2-0 up in sets, and demolished China in set 1 though. Neither of us are watching the game so it’s kind of hard to tell how the Netherlands are performing, but China has their A-squad for week 2 (in addition to Zhu Ting being back) so I’d assume they’re playing well.
  21. Table tennis legend Timo Boll has officially announced his retirement. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7emmgHt-7A/?igsh=Y3VnaWR2YTdydWFi Paris 2024 will be his final tournament. I’ll post a bit about him “Athletes Retirements” thread when the time comes.
  22. Canada isn’t looking like the team we saw in Rio, so you should have no problem securing the Olympic ticket.
