  1. Wow - USA eliminated from the dressage.
  2. Forum posts can be deceiving, not really that clued up! Not really sure but I’d guess a Bronze. Germany really dominant here. For comparison, in Tokyo 2020 Hester scored around 75, albeit on a different horse. Silver wouldn’t have been unattainble but as you say with a weaker team much less likely.
  3. Hester finishes 3rd in his group with 77.345 (below van Liere of the Netherlands and Skodborg of Denmark). Not enough for an automatic qualification to the individual dressage final, but a solid score.
  4. Men’s event postponed until 10.45am on Wednesday 31 July. Women’s still due to take place at 8.00am on that day also. Contingencies remain in place for dates in August.
  5. Artistic Gymnastics: Can we get a medal? NO Badminton: Does Gilmour win a game? NO Canoe Slalom: Is CLARKE in the top ten? YES Cycling BMX Freestyle: Is REILLY in the top five? YES Equestrian: Our the TEAM in the top three at the end of the day? YES Hockey: Do they win? NO Judo: Does Renshall fight in the evening session? YES Rowing: Do they make the final? YES Rugby Sevens: Do we come 5th? NO Sailing: Is WILSON in a medal position by the end of the day? YES Shooting: Do either of our MEN make the final? YES Swimming: Gold for the RELAY team? YES Tennis: Do the MEN'S DOUBLES team go through? YES Triathlon: Medal for YEE? YES
  6. Some spare trunks and a lucozade.
  7. They will sample the water at 3.30am and make a call. It will either go ahead in full tomorrow, or be postponed to 2 August. They will then test against on the morning of 2 August and if at that point the water is still not satisfactory they would need to make a call of whether to go ahead as a duathlon.
  8. Away from Equestrian - Pitchford has won his round of 64 match against Wu of Fiji in the Men’s Table Tennis.
  9. This fence which they claim she went outside of.
  10. Fibre optic networks across France sabotaged.
  11. Women’s Windsurfing - fair chance of a good performance, change in class from RS:X to IQFoil, but Wilson has adapted well and has won Bronze in 2023 and Silver in 2024 at the World Championships in the IQFoil class. Men’s Windsurfing - slim potential. Has been up and amongst it (5th at World Championships 2023) but not consistent. Women’s ILCA - highly unlikely. Men’s ILCA - won silver at the World Championships 2023, good form this year. Women’s 49erFX - some potential in their performances today, leading at times, but not much to show for it on paper (9th, 18th and 8th). Men’s 49er - judging by their results today (18th, 11th and 13th) I’d gather unlikely. Mixed 420 - scraped qualification last minute. Silver at the World Championships this year, but then only 16th at the European Championship in May. Nacra 17 - Gimson and Burnet back after winning Silver in Tokyo. The duo took Gold in the European Championships in 2023 and Silver at the Worlds of that year. Solid contenders.
  12. Wahler of Germany eliminated in the cross country McNab of Australia now also elimnated.
  13. Windsurfing races showing as delayed on the app.
  14. Women’s Pair last in their rowing heat. Will need to go through the repechage.
  15. No, all still scheduled to proceed as normal on Tuesday. It’s the training that has been cancelled.
  16. Triathlon training cancelled this morning due to poor water quality in the Seine.
  17. If they can’t get the security situation under control I am unsure Israel would be comfortable to play this evening.
  18. Well that’s a bitter pill to swallow if it’s the Dutch given they have a rapist on the team. No matter what she’s done to the horse I doubt it’s worse than that.
  19. Yeah I do find it interesting a 4 year old video has gone public the week that the Games open. Obviously that’s not to detract from what presumably is a serious incident given Dujardin’s own statement.
