Both Tomasz Sikora & Weronika Nowakowska said there was some extra juice in the Italian team since their coach (P.Favre) joined the French team before the season without a warning so they wanted to prove they can perform without him as well. I guess they did just that.

Well, this was a very good season on the women's side considering how one-sided the men's was. Maybe this overall success gives Wierer an extra boost to keep going until the 2022 WOG? Vittozzi was pretty impressive but crumbled mentally when it mattered the most. Herrmann proved to be the best of the Germans and quite frankly she can challenge for the overall next season IMO. Also Monika Hojnisz finished in the overall Top 10 as the second ever after Krystyna Guzik in 2015/16.
